- (2006) Had a lead in a concert reading of "A Bright Room Called Day", which brought Judith Malina back to the stage for the first time in over 10 years to read with original cast members and other chosen known New York stage performers. Reading was in New York City.
- (2007) Had a lead in the concert reading of the Norman Mailer play, "The Deer Park". Norman Mailer was in attendance and spoke at the sold out reading in New York City.
- (2006) Was the lead in Mark Borkowski's play, "Don't Listen to What it Sound Like", which had a sold out run at the Gene Frankel Theater in New York City and was published in an anthology of best plays of 2006.
- Originated the role of "Carl the Usher" in a never before performed Tennessee Williams' play, "These are the Stairs You Gotta Watch" - off-off Broadway in New York City. Also helped cast the production.
- (2006) Was the lead in the play "Hurry" which had a sold-out run at the Blue Heron Arts Center in New York City.
- (2005) Was the lead in Franz-Xaver Kroetz's "The Nest", which was performed over that Summer at the Mint Theater in New York City.
- (1996) Had a supporting role in Valeri Vaughn's "Tunnel Vision", which starred her brother, Vince Vaughn.
- (1996) Played the homeless schizophrenic "Paulie", a lead, in the film "Dead Bird".
- (2005) Played the pimp "Ray" as a lead in Jimmy Mehiel's film Modern Romance (2006) - which went to numerous festivals around the NY and Connecticut area.
- (Summer 94) Acted opposite of Jordan Ladd in the youth oriented "Water on the Moon" performed at the Zephyr Theater in West Hollywood.
- (Sept 2010) Acted opposite stage icon and Tony Nominee Rose Gregorio of "Shadowbox" in Mario Fratti's "Missionaries" on off-Broadway in NYC. Mario is credited with writing the Musical "9".

James, Robert Garcia, Robert Haufrecht, Dylan Hundley, Daniela Iannone, Chris Kerson, Aleta LaFargue, Victoria Lazar, Jason Evans Lee, Ron Moreno, Etienne Navarre, Ante Novakovic, Lloyd Price, Maria Scavullo, Jicky Schnee, Michael Scoffel, Kristin Smith. Note: All actors wrote their own monologues, which were incorporated into the improvisational play.
