Ada Wong, Patrick House and Alfredo "Frado" Dinten all shed major weight to reach the finals of "The Biggest Loser," but only one of them packed on $250,000 in grand-prize dough Tuesday night! At the end of the competition the scale was kindest to Patrick, a 28-year-old husband and father of two from Mississippi. "To win 'The Biggest Loser' means everything to me," he said. "My future now is as bright as it's ever been." He said he'd been given the opportunity to work for a program at a South Carolina school that helps overweight teens. Patrick arrived at "The Biggest Loser" ranch weighing 400 pounds. He dropped 181 to finish the competition at 219 pounds. "It's crazy to think that I let myself get that out of control," he said about his starting weight. "And I can tell you, I'm never going back to that." The crowd on the picket line at The Biggest Loser ranch is expected to be significantly larger tomorrow after the La County AFL-CIO affiliate today endorsed the Iatse-led strike by the reality series' crew and vowed to send picketers from some of the 350 unions and more than 800,000 unions it represents. There won't be much to picket though as Biggest Loser is not scheduled to be filming on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the show's AFTRA-represented talent, trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper and host Alison Sweeney are yet to cross the picket line despite having no-strike clauses in their contracts. What's more, the three are auctioning off a training session (Michaels/Harper) and a lunch date (Sweeney) on Ebay to support the relief fund established for the striking crew. »

NBC's The Biggest Loser completed its first day of filming while picketed by some 50 striking crew members. The show's two trainers, Jilian Michaels, who had said she won't cross the picket line, and Bob Harper, were not scheduled to work, so they didn't show up at The Biggest Loser Ranch where the reality series is filmed. Among those who did show up and crossed the picket line were executive producers J.D. Roth and Todd Nelson, founders/CEO's of 3 Ball Prods. (see photo by Jim Stevenson below). Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO, will hold a meeting tomorrow to sanction the Iatse-led strike by the crew of The Biggest Loser. They say nice guys finish last and that may have been the problem for Richard Deroque on Tuesday night's "The Biggest Loser." When he refused to join in an alliance to vote someone out who he felt deserved to be on the ranch, he was eliminated when his black team lost the weigh-in. With a nine-pound weight loss for the week, Rick never suspected it would be his neck on the chopping block. Now, "The Insider" talks to the ousted "Loser" about dropping 120 pounds [his starting weight was 350] and how sweet life is today. I actually thought Elizabeth was going home, although there was that one comment that the person going home would be surprised. Were you blindsided and why do you think the team picked you to eliminate? Richard De Roque: The answer to being blindsided: I was definitely blindsided. I did not see that coming at all. That is what made it real difficult at that time. »

You had such a positive attitude, despite being injured and not allowed to participate in the challenge to save yourself from elimination. Was there one thing at the ranch that happened that inspired you? Burgandy Keel: I think the other contestants were truly the people who inspired me the most. I would see them up at midnight on the treadmills working out just to make sure they gave it 110 percent. You had a really rare opportunity to have dinner at Bob's house. "The Biggest Loser" trainer Bob Harper stopped by Access Hollywood Live to chat with Billy Bush and Kit Hoover about the importance of breakfast. Yup, we've heard it time and time again, it is the day's most important meal, and those who take the time for breakfast tend to be slimmer.

But, less than half of Americans eat breakfast everyday! As a parent, it crushes me when my teenage daughter skimps breakfast because she's got a fashion emergency (or some other teen drama) and heads to school with her tank half full! Never good for a cheery mood ...
