Raised on the south side of Chicago, actor/director Ramses Jimenez was first introduced to film at Columbia College Chicago where he majored in Film Directing. Jimenez began his artistic career as an actor quite unexpectedly after an interview for an on-set gaffing position took a surprise turn when the director of the film convinced him to audition for the lead role in the independent film "Chicago Boricua". The film launched his career as an actor, starring in three independent films, three studio films (Lets Go to Prison, Batman: Dark Knight, Nothing Like the Holidays) and various TV appearances such as Law and Order, CSI, CSI Miami, In Plain Sight, Supah Ninjas, and Prime Suspects.
