In a few short hours, many of us will finally be celebrating 2013. However, the year 2012 for Rupert Grint and his fans has been a fantastic one. First came the premiere of Into The White in which Rupert played Gunner Robert Smith to much praise in the Norwegian press. The film is currently out on DVD in many countries. In the UK it is known as Cross of Honour, and for those with a blu-ray player you'll be able to see the film without any region restrictions on it. He also took on the role of Carl in The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman opposite Shia Labeouf which will premiere in January at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival. He also signed on to play in the Beach Boys drummer Brian Wilson biopic The Dummer as Stan Shapiro opposite Aaron Eckhart and Chloe Grace Moretz. He also recently completed the film Cbgb »

(And not Platinum Dunes hands. Whew!) There are a batch of these titles that we were fortunate to get an early look at, so I’ll make mention of that as we get to them and let you know if they get the official Icons Seal Of Approval. So, without further ado, let’s go through our most anticipated picks for 2013, in order of their release dates! »

When Eddie Redmayne heard there was going to be a film version of Les Miserables, the British actor knew he was destined to play the dashing battle hero Marius. "I sat in my trailer, dressed as a cowboy, and sang! Saying it now it seems really odd, but when I was there [...] »

An effective trailer can do wonders for a film. For every movie that is guaranteed to have an audience, there are many more that need to build their own buzz, and there’s no faster way to do that than with a good trailer. A well made trailer can turn a monster movie from a first-time director starring a bunch of then-unknowns into the most-buzzed about movie for weeks, while a poor trailer can doom a movie right from the start. Every year sees some trailers that, independent of the film they’re promoting, capture one’s attention, and make people keep returning to them. Here are the trailers of 2012 that were able to do that best.
30) The Avengers
The sheer impossibility of conceiving of a large screen movie about a team of Marvel superheroes even 15 years ago cannot be understated. While the technology needed to adequately show their true might may have been present, »

Movie 43 has undeniably one of the greatest and largest ensemble casts of any comedy ever. We’ve seen plenty from the movie already to suggest it’s going to be a lot of fun next year, earning its R-rating and then some.
Last month treated us to a great new red-band preview, red-band featurette, and a new poster, and now we’ve had the two variants of the UK poster sent over to share.
“Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
From the twisted minds of producers Peter Farrelly (Hall Pass, Shallow Hal) and Charles Wessler (There’s Something About Mary, Dumb & Dumber), comes Movie 43– the outrageous new ensemble comedy starring some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Movie 43 is not for the easily-offended and contains jaw-dropping, sometimes shockingly disturbing, but always entertaining intertwined storylines you’ll have to see to believe.”
The cast is beyond impressive, »

As we established in our list of the 25 Best Movies of 2012, it was a pretty great year at the multiplexes.
But in what you are about to read below, well, there is no "good."
Some of these actually didn't do too badly in the box office and one might incite some rage from a certain fan army (sorry guys, but our whole staff agreed!), but either way, we want to know what you think. Read up on our 10 clunkers of 2012 and hit up the comments section below with your two cents.
10. 'Dark Shadows'
"Dark Shadows" lost at its own game. It seems like Tim Burton meant to harness the power of kitsch in his big screen adaptation of camptastic '70s soap opera "Dark Shadows," flirting with the border of "so bad it's good" territory... and overshot his mark by a mile. Great actors go horribly wasted in »

The Forbes 30 Under 30 Hollywood edition has arrived, and the site has honored some of the most game-changing young actors in Hollywood. People like Aziz Ansari, Lena Dunham, Chris Colfer and Maude Apatow (Judd Apatow's eldest daughter) all made the cut, and for good reason.
Other recognizable names on the list are Chloe Moretz, Logan Lerman, Rebel Wilson, Nicholas Hoult, Greta Gerwig, Sam Claflin, "Crazy, Stupid, Love's" Analeigh Tipton, "Catfish" director Nev Schulman and "Chronicle" scribe Max Landis, but many of the people honored are ones who spend most of their time behind the camera. "Saturday Night Live" writer/actor Kate McKinnon and writer Simon Rich both made the list, while "Adventure Time" producer/writer Rebecca Sugar was recognized as well.
Coming from the producer of the Farrelly brothers’ comedies There’s Something About Mary and Dumb & Dumber and from producer Peter Farrelly himself, Movie 43 is billed as shockingly disturbing. But whilst it might not live up to that hype (we’ll have to wait till February to find out here in the UK), what the film does have is a fantastic ensemble cast, including: Halle Berry, Gerard Butler, Kieran Culkin, Anna Faris, Terrence Howard, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Knoxville, Justin Long, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chloë Grace Moretz, Seann William Scott, Emma Stone, Jason Sudeikis, Uma Thurman, and Kate Winslet.
But its not only in front of the camera that features a great ensemble, behind the camera are Steven Brill, Peter Farrelly, Will Graham, Steve Carr, Griffin Dunne, James Duffy, Jonathan Van Tulleken, Elizabeth Banks, Patrik Forsberg, Brett Ratner, Rusty Cundieff, and James Gunn!
