- He is a member of Mensa.
- Sean has worked with two of the three Scotts: with Jake on the Dunkin' Donuts commercial that earned him his SAG card, and with Tony as a hand double on Unstoppable (2010).
- His last name "Tomazin" originally had an "e" at the end of it before his great grandfather came through Ellis Island, making the original name "Tomazine". Amusingly, his junior college baseball coach had decided his last name was Tomazine (like "magazine") without Sean being aware of this years ago, and he was often called "Zine" for short during practice. Sean's last name was spelled "Tomazine" in the 1994 Moorpark College Baseball program, in fact, despite him filling out paperwork contrary. Years later, Sean was surprised to realize that his coach was actually historically correct in spelling it that way.
