"Well, I know you said it's been in the papers, but I haven't heard any of this," he said. "I don't know what Len's going to do. As far as I'm aware, I don't think Len's not going to be doing it, but if they asked..."

Du Beke added that he is delighted to be acting as a guest judge on some of the 2015 Strictly Live shows, and joked that it could act as an "audition" for him.

"I'm doing a couple of guest spots on the Strictly tour, so they've probably got [the rumours] from there,

'Strictly Come Dancing's Camilla Dallerup: My split from Brendan Cole was a 'mini-death'

'Strictly Come Dancing's Camilla Dallerup's split from Brendan Cole was like a ''mini-death''. The dancing professional appeared alongside her then-fiancé in the first series of the dancing competition in 2004, where Brendan was partnered with newscaster, Natasha Kaplinsky. Speaking about her split, Camilla said: ''It was like a mini-death. You go through the arc of grief, anger, bitterness. ''My best friend and dancing professionally with Brendan had both gone. That felt pretty scary. It seemed like everything I'd ever wanted and worked for had been removed, just like that.'' The 40-year-old model - who is now married to actor Kevin Sacre - recalled how

Len Goodman has revealed that he will quit Dancing with the Stars next year.

In an interview with Digital Spy and others, the dancing judge said the spring season will be his last.

"Next year, I'm not going to do the flying backwards and forwards – I'm not going to do the American show... I've got to have a bit of time off," Goodman explained.

"I've got my wife, I've got my son, my mother is still alive and she's in hospital – I've had virtually no time to go and visit her.

"So, I just need a bit of time off to get on with a normal life. And it was either Strictly went or the American one went or the tour went... I'm doing the spring one when I go out there... and that's going to be my last one."

Goodman added that he will not be taking part in the upcoming Strictly tour,

Gemma Collins, Katie Price, Brian Harvey: 9 I'm a Celebrity jungle quitters

Gemma Collins has earned herself a joint record by quitting I'm a Celebrity... Get me Out of Here! after just three days of languishing in the jungle's Celebrity Slammer.

Gemma Collins: Are you glad or sad she's quit I'm a Celebrity?

Gemma Collins leaves I'm a Celebrity: Here's 12 reasons why we'll miss her

While she's not the first star to walk, she (and her fellow record holder, see below) did it far quicker than the rest*.

*Excluding Malcolm McLaren, who never even made it into the jungle in 2007, claiming the camp was a "glorified film set" and that the show was "fake".

Can you remember the rest of the celebrities who opted to leave the show? Here are nine along with the days they lasted and their reasons for leaving:

1. John Lydon

Days lasted: 11

Ranking the Strictly Come Dancing winners: Who is the best ever?

After all the excitement about the Strictly Come Dancing launch last weekend, we've now got to wait a couple of weeks to discover who can dance and who can... waddle around a floor, badly (We're looking at you, Gregg Wallace).

In the meantime, we've had the ultimate Strictly pub debate - yes, we talk about Strictly in the pub - who is the greatest champion of all time. Here is the Definitive* ranking of the 11 Glitterball Champions from Worst to the Best.

*Actually just our opinion.

11. Chris Hollins

You can't win Strictly Come Dancing and be a bad dancer. However, Chris Hollins would have struggled to reach the final in any other series and it was only really his partnership with Ola 'Chops' Jordan and the dull competition that allowed him to stroll (or should that be Charleston?) to victory.

10. Tom Chambers

Were Tom Chambers and Camilla Dallerup the best dancers in 2008? Probably not.

'Strictly' romances: From Joe and Kristina to Kara and Artem

Strictly Come Dancing is set to start next Friday (September 27), with stars such as Abbey Clancy, Julien Macdonald and Vanessa Feltz competing for the ballroom dancing crown.

In anticipation to the start of the series, which runs up to Christmas, the first previews of the contestants rehearsing ahead of the live shows have already been released online.

But along with the conscientious training, tough competition - and, at times, chemistry - comes salacious speculation about romance between the celebrities and their dance partners.

Cast your beady eye back over the real (and reported) romances - from Joe and Kristina to Natasha and Brendan - throughout the series below.

Kara Tointon and Artem Chigvintsev

Kara and former dance partner Artem became an item when they teamed up together to win the series in 2010. The pair have since moved in together, although the former EastEnders star has previously said that the pair

Natasha Kaplinsky: 'BBC forced me to do Strictly Come Dancing'

Natasha Kaplinsky has claimed that she was "forced" to take part in the first series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2004.

The newsreader - who was working on BBC Breakfast at the time - has said that she desperately tried to get out of appearing on the programme, but was pushed into taking part by the channel.

Kaplinsky is quoted as telling The Mirror: "I got completely forced and put into a corner at the BBC.

"I'd just started at BBC Breakfast, and obviously the bosses at Strictly had a shopping list and a newsreader was on it and I was their easiest target.

"I honestly tried every single excuse not to do it, but I was cajoled and in the end I ran out of excuses. I was absolutely petrified."

The star - who won the series with professional dancer Brendan Cole - admitted she was worried that taking part

Made in Chelsea Spencer confirms Lucy relationship - but where is she?

Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews furthered the mystery over his relationship with co-star Lucy Watson by confirming that the pair are finally a couple - as he turned up alone at an event they were supposed to attend together.

Many viewers of the E4 show have suspected that Spencer's impromptu romance may be a hollow attempt to get revenge on former girlfriend Louise Thompson, who is now dating his nemesis and Lucy's ex Andy Jordan.

But Spencer stressed to Digital Spy and other journalists at the FiFi UK Fragrance Awards in London last night (May 16) that he and Lucy are the real thing, saying: "We are official, yeah. We are dating, it's looking good... we're very happy at the moment."

He continued: "I have a very different kind of relationship with Lucy. It's kind of like going out with a very close friend. She's very similar to me,

Camilla Dallerup: 'Strictly Come Dancing theme made me feel sick'

Camilla Dallerup has revealed that she needed therapy after her split from ex-fiancé and Strictly co-star Brendan Cole.

The couple dated for eight years before parting ways in 2004 amid rumours that Cole was having an affair with his celebrity dance partner Natasha Kaplinsky.

In an interview with The Mirror, Dallerup admitted that she was so devastated by the alleged betrayal that she underwent three years of life coaching and even tried hypnosis to help her deal with the break-up.

"I honestly wouldn't wish that time on my worst enemy. I was in such turmoil," she said.

"We were lovers and we worked together. It had been us against the world."

The professional dancer - who quit the show in 2008 - also revealed that the sound of the Strictly Come Dancing theme made her feel sick.

She said: "I remember one show when Brendan kissed Natasha good luck behind the curtain as the opening credits played.

Lulu: I thought Brendan was horrendous

Lulu heard "horrendous" things about Brendan Cole before they were partnered together on 'Strictly Come Dancing'. The 'Shout' hitmaker thought she was going to be up against a "tough bad boy", but in reality Brendan - who has dated the likes of Abi Titmuss and 'Strictly' co-star Camilla Dallerup in the past - is a real "softie". Lulu said: "I'm only just beginning to get to know him. The things I'd imagined about him were horrendous. That he was a bad boy, that he was really tough. "People don't know him. He is a softie I have met his mum, his brother

Strictly Come Dancing - live blog!

The final 10 couples take to the dancefloor. Can Widdy and Anton stagger through another week? Join me for the results!

Good evening all. Well, I hope your eyes have recovered from the sight of Ann "The Appliance" Widdecombe's paso doble with Anton Du Beke last week, and your ears have recovered from the combined screeching of Elaine Paige, Jodie Prenger and Craig Revel Horwood on the sofa with Claudia on It Takes Two last night.

Because it's time for another Saturday night where we marvel at Natalie Lowe's amazing choreography, Len Goodman's amazing lapses of logic, Kara Tointon's amazing chemistry with partner Artem (or do we?), and the amazing fact that the Strictly singers remain employed year after year.

We lost Tina O'Brien last week, despite the fact that she had Chickenpox and thus should clearly be entitled to the sympathy vote even when dancing the role
