Chris Leo was born in New York but raised in Missouri. He is the son of Joseph and Anna Marie Leo. Chris attended Southwest Missouri State University (SMSU) and although SMSU has an excellent Theatre department which boasts former students 'John Goodman', 'Kathleen Turner', & Tess Harper, Chris graduated with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. Therefore, he's a computer nerd turned actor. In 1991 & 1992, Chris tried his hand at stand up comedy by entering an amateur comedy contest in which he took runner up the first year and won the contest the second year. After moving to Kansas City, he formed the band Innuendo with three college friends in which he played guitar & keyboards and sang lead & backing vocals all the while still making a living as a computer geek. Chris is married to Carolann Leo who actually got her degrees (BFA, MFA) in Dance/Musical Theatre and she directs and choreographs shows in the Kansas City area. They have two beautiful children together.
