Following Monday's historic tornado that devastated the Oklahoma City area, there has been an outpouring of support from public figures, celebrities, and everyday Americans. President Barack Obama addressed the nation from the White House Tuesday morning, expressing his severe concern and promising federal aid for the victims and families. As search and rescue teams scour the disaster grounds, celebrities have also been taking advantage of social media to share thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement. Oklahoma natives Olivia Munn and Carrie Underwood gave personal accounts and hopes for fellow Oklahomans, as did Kristen Chenoweth, who also asked her followers to donate to the American Red Cross and Humane Society relief efforts. Hollywood is coming together to send prayers and support to those affected by the devastating Oklahoma tornado yesterday. NBA star Kevin Durant made an overwhelmingly generous donation of $1 million to the American Red Cross through his Durant Family Foundation. While the basketball star didn't go public with his contribution, the Red Cross of Oklahoma announced the news themselves. Oklahoma native Reba McEntire told E! After a devastating tornado hit Oklahoma, celebs took to Twitter to share their prayers and support for the victims of the horrible tragedy.
On May 20, a two-mile-wide Ef-4 tornado ripped through an area outside of Oklahoma City, Okla. leaving major destruction in its path. Josh Groban, Elizabeth Banks, and more stars tweeted to show their support for everyone affected by the storms.

CAA made a lot of money off of a single deal late last year, but it wasn’t from landing one of its stars a big role or packaging the next film franchise.
Instead, the agency sold jeans — $300 million worth of them — when it unloaded its stake in J Brand, a high-end denim label the tenpercentery has invested in and helped grow since 2010.
And on May 1, UTA scored some bragging rights of its own, selling teen-targeted YouTube network AwesomenessTV to DreamWorks Animation for $33 million, with the chance of earning $117 million from earnings and performance bonuses. The deal marks the first time an agency has sold a digital channel it incubated internally with a client.

A release date of January 16, 2015, has been granted to the next film from director Scott Derrickson, entitled Beware the Night. I know that's a long way off, but hey, sometimes making a really good movie can take a really long time.
Screen Gems has cast Edgar Ramirez (pictured) and Olivia Munn to star in Beware The Night alongside Eric Bana. The film re-teams Clint Culpepper’s Sony-based company with The Exorcism of Emily Rose tandem of Scott Derrickson and Paul Boardman. The film is a paranormal thriller that will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Films. Derrickson will direct a script he and Boardman wrote, and shooting will begin May 20 in the Bronx.

Sinister director Scott Derrickson is getting ready to begin production on Beware the Night, and we were hoping to see the movie sometime in 2014. However, Sony is looking to take advantage of a month that has recently become popular for horror films and will release the movie in 2015.
January 15th, 2015 is the release date set for the movie, which means we won’t be seeing it for quite some time. The month has proven very successful for horror movies in recent years, so we’re not surprised to see studios claiming release dates this far ahead of time.

Los Angeles, April 29: Actor Chris Pine is reportedly single again after splitting from model-girlfriend Dominique Piek.
The 32-year-old actor got into a relationship with Piek in 2011. They made their red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival in May last year.
"It happened a while ago. It was a mutual call. They both needed their space. She has been very busy with her modelling work and travelling. He's got 'Star Trek' and his other projects are keeping him busy," femalefirst.co.uk quoted a source as saying.
