Vyacheslav Dyomin was born in Moscow. His father Konstantin Feodorovich was born in v. Kurlyshevo the
Ryazan region, occurred from the Ural Cossacks of Bogdanoffs (the
representative of this cossack sort ataman Bogdanov ordered the Bashkir
Cossack group which was at war against Bolsheviks in 1918-19); mother -
nee Korzurina Vera Ilyinichna, from the Donskiye Cossacks of Tihonoffs,
was born in Bryansk region, the veteran of the Soviet-German war. After
the high school termination in 1977-79 Demin studied on 3-year-old
courses of set dressers at a film studio "Mosfilm", in 1979-80 the set
dresser of cinema studied in the Moscow art school on a speciality.
With 1977 on 1984 "Mosfilm", the watchman, the model, the designer, the
typographical worker etc. worked as the set dresser on a film studio.
Consisted in different informal unions of avant-guard-artist,
participated in informal exhibitions (the first - in 1978 in Suvorovsky
parkway). Since autumn 1983 on a deck. 1984 headed the illegal
Revolutionary social-democratic party organized by himself. In the
autumn 1984 in his house the KGB withdrew a lot of illegal literature
and leaflets with Anti-Sovietic plot. At the same year Demin was
arrested and imprisoned by KGB in Lefortovo, in July 1985 is sentenced
to 5 years of the reference under item 70, p.1 of the Criminal Code of
USSR(anti-Soviet propaganda and agitation) which he left in
imprisonment in Amangeldy, in Syr-Darya area of Kzyl-Ordynsky region of
Kazakhstan, was discharged March of 1987.
Demin was an art director on the serials 'Cobra. The Countdown': film director J.Kuzmenko (2001), "the code of Honor", film director George Nikolaenko (2002). In a television movie "From a flame and light" (about the Russian poet M.J.Lermontoff) film director Nana Drzorzhadze under the scenario of Iraklij Kvirikidze, producer Sergey Zhigunov, studio "Chance" (2006), 'Sea Patrol-2' (2008), 'Most Wanted' (2010) Demin was the art director in a television movie "Anti-hitmen", director Konchalovski(2003), 'Ann' film director E. Ginzbourg (2004), 'Isaeff' film director Ursulak (2008) This film was recipient of 'Golden Eagle' reward in 2011. Demin himself was a recipient of Teffi-2011 and 'Golden Rhino' in 2011 for the best work of an art director. Demin was art decorator in movies 'Perilous Friends' by Shamshurin in 1979, 'Velvet Season' by Pavlowic in 1978, 'Comedy of Liseastrat' by Rubinczyk in 1989 and others. Besides cinema and TV business during 80s Demin was working in theatre studios, illustrating books and magazines. Taught painting for students. Most of his paintings are in personal collections in Europe and USA.
