In 2010, Rich started filling in for the late Charlie O'Donnell as the announcer on Wheel of Fortune (1983). Ultimately, the announcing position went to Jim Thornton, who ironically was the other final candidate, along with Rich, to takeover for the late Rod Roddy on The Price Is Right.

Personal Quotes (2)

It's not what happens to you in life... it's how you deal with it.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed and shocked, but looking back at everything, it's not the same show it was when I joined in 2004. Once Bob (Barker) left, things slowly changed. They are going in a new direction and want to incorporate more improvisational comedy.
