Trivia

Lead singer of Quiet Riot, the first metal band to have a #1 album on the Pop Album/Billboard 200 charts.

Co-founded Quiet Riot with guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Kelly Garni in 1975, later adding drummer Drew Forsyth to complete the original line-up. Kevin disbanded Quiet Riot in 1979 after Rhoads' departure to Ozzy Osbourne's then unnamed band, only to later reform the band in 1983, and record and release the landmark "Metal Health" album.

Formed his own band, DuBrow, after Quiet Riot's original break-up in 1979. Besides Kevin, the band Dubrow also consisted of future Quiet Riot members: ex-Snow guitarist Carlos Cavazo, bassist Chuck Wright, and hotshot drummer Frankie Banali.

Released his first solo album, "In For The Kill", in the spring of 2004 on Shrapnel Records. It was an album of 70s hard rock covers.

Regrouped Quiet Riot in the 1990s and performed sporadically, last releasing an album in October 2006.

Was found dead in his Las Vegas home on November 25, 2007. It was later determined that he had overdosed on cocaine.
