4.1 & 4.2 Heroes Of Mandalore

Star Wars Rebels is in flux. So far, the main characters have steered clear of the plot lines we’ve seen in the saga movies, except for General Syndulla’s wonderful blink-and-you’ll miss it mention in Rogue One. We know that the fourth season will be the final season of the series, so there’s only so far these characters can go. But it’s also a time of change. Who will live and who will die by the time the season is over and The Last Jedi is out?

Asian American TV Actors Expose the Difficulty of Landing Parts – With or Without an Accent

Asian American TV Actors Expose the Difficulty of Landing Parts – With or Without an Accent
Daniel Dae Kim made headlines this year for leaving “Hawaii Five-0” over issues of pay inequality, and later, for replacing actor Ed Skrein as a Japanese-American character in the big-screen remake of “Hellboy.” Both instances involved how Asian Americans are still underrepresented in the entertainment industry, and it’s an issue that requires more discussion in order to foster understanding of how the so-called “model minority” continues to be marginalized.

It wasn’t that long ago that very few actors of Asian descent were even considered Hollywood stars. In an interview with IndieWire, Kim reflected on the few Asian actors who were his role models growing up.

“The only two that I can think of were Bruce Lee and George Takei. They were the only two,” he said. “I was a big ‘Star Trek’ fan when I was a kid, and I would watch Mister Sulu all the time. Bruce Lee,

First Two Episodes Of Star Wars: Forces Of Destiny Season 2 Land Online

Following on from their airing on the Disney Channel in a half-hour special, the first few episodes of the second season of Star Wars: Forces of Destiny have started to arrive online. The animated webseries initially launched earlier this year and received a warm reception for its emphasis on the female characters of the Star Wars saga and for its impressive voice cast. Thankfully, this looks to continue in the new installments.

Episode 1, seen above, is titled “Newest Recruit” and highlights Sabine Wren (Tiya Sircar) from Star Wars Rebels. It sees the rebel heroine team up with her old friend Ketsu Onyo (Firely‘s Gina Torres) on a seemingly easy mission to get some food for the Rebellion – which is gatecrashed by Stormtroopers. Rebels fans will note this marks an important moment for Ketsu, who’s never formally joined the Rebellion before.

Episode 2, titled “Tracker Trouble,” should peak the interest

Star Wars: Forces of Destiny Shorts Return with Rey and Sabine

Star Wars: Forces of Destiny Shorts Return with Rey and Sabine
Disney has released the first two animated shorts in the next wave of Star Wars Forces of Destiny films, which brings back Daisy Ridley as Rey. The short film helps fill in a brief gap from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, showing what happened aboard the Millennium Falcon as Rey and her new friend Finn (John Boyega) went to Maz Kanata's (Lupita Nyong'o) castle with Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew). Unfortunately, Harrison Ford and John Boyega don't provide the voices of Han Solo and Finn for this animated short, but it shows that they ran into some trouble on their way to Maz Kanata's castle.

This new short film is called Tracker Trouble, which debuted on the Disney YouTube page, reveals that something goes wrong with the hyperdrive on the Millennium Falcon. Rey asks if they scanned for trackers before taking off, and while Chewie says he did,

‘The Good Place’ Review: ‘Dance Dance Resolution’ Reinvents the Show’s Greatest Hits for the Year’s Funniest Episode
[Editor’s Note: The following review contains spoilers for “The Good Place” Season 2, Episode 3, “Dance Dance Resolution.”]

The number of jokes that an episode of television has is rarely an effective form of measuring comedy. Some rapid-fire set ups don’t actually deliver on the volume of punchlines and just end up getting exhausting before too long. The double-episode premiere of NBC’s “The Good Place” had plenty of surprises that weren’t necessarily framed as jokes, but drew plenty of laughs by upending Season 2 expectations in a shocking way. Now that the series had established a firm foundation for a post-twist world, the third episode was the show’s chance to take a deep breath, to patiently and calml—

Just kidding. Everything went nuts.

Dance Dance Resolution,” written by Megan Amran and directed by Drew Goddard (who also directed the original pilot), may not have had the narrative timeline wizardry that the premiere did. But this jam-packed look at Michael’s continued frustration in setting up

Finn And Han Solo To Appear In Star Wars: Forces Of Destiny

The animated microseries Star Wars: Forces of Destiny did a great job of including a range of fan favourite characters from across the saga in its eight episode first season. Driven by its female stars, the three-minute installments featured the likes of Princess Leia, Rey, Jyn Erso, Padme Amidala and Ahsoka Tano. Not to mention Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, Chewbacca, R2-D2 and more in supporting roles. Thankfully, the familiar faces will keep on coming in the upcoming season, as two more big names have been added to the line-up.
