Abrraham Rockferry has been working in the film, media and entertainment industry for nearly two decades and serves as executive of Film and Entertainment for Canada Film Group, the company responsible for bringing Jackie Chan's mobile art and environmental museum, "The Green Hero Project," to the United States. Abrraham is also an independent filmmaker, writer, actor and producer, working on "The Lost Identity," a multicultural Hollywood co-production (2024). Prior to starting production, the film secured domestic distribution, as well as international interest, and continues to gain support from community leaders, government officials and celebrities, including Joseph Millson. "The Lost Identity" is in advanced discussions with multi-Grammy-award-winning music producer, Glenn Tabor.
Abrraham previously worked with FilmEngine Entertainment, the creators of several blockbuster hits, including "The Butterfly Effect," "Snow White and the Huntsman," "Raise Your Voice," and "Rum Diary." During his work with FilmEngine, he served as international representative, responsible for investment, finance and liaising with Asian territories in effort to integrate their cultures into potential FilmEngine's library of intellectual properties, such as "The Butterfly Effect" reboot.
In 2018, Abrraham was chosen as the writer for adapting "A Boy's War," written by David J. Mitchell, into a Hollywood story. The story of "A Boy's War" follows 300 missionary children who were captured by the Japanese during the occupation of China. From this book, Abrraham created "Arms of the Angel," a live-action, theatrical story that earned interest from a prominent Hollywood director.
Prior to this, Abrraham worked independently on writing, creating, producing and acting in "The Book of Job," a docudrama series based on the classic biblical story. The series was released worldwide in approximately 30 different languages. Abrraham was awarded Best Producer of the Year for his work on "The Book of Job." Abrraham also wrote, produced and portrayed Jesus Christ in two sold-out productions.
In 2016, Abrraham created an animated story called "Juntu," which attracted major Hollywood writers, including Mark Haimes, the writer of "Kubo and the Two Strings," starring South African Actress Charlie Theron. "Juntu" also gained the attention of Alec Sokolow, writer of Disney.Pixar's "Toy Story" films, who was attached to write the screenplay.
In 2014, Abrraham was elected to represent America at the International Macau Film Festival, an elite competition for filmmakers from around the world that focused on promoting culture and tourism. Directed by David Liu, "Dong Yuen Yong," secured first place at the festival -- the first year ever for the United States -- and was awarded Best Picture and Best Screenplay. Abrraham served as co-writer and actor on "Dong Yuen Yong" and won second place for Best Actor.
In addition to his work in film, Abrraham created and co-produced a multicultural children's augmented reality coloring book, starring NBA All-Star Danny Green. The book is featured on the Universal Hip-Hop Museum platform for the 50th Anniversary (2023-2024), and has been promoted in Forbes Magazine. The Museum was also recently featured on MTV, the Golden Globe Awards and an episode of Saturday Night Live starring Timothée Chalamet.
Born in Kerala, India, Abrraham moved to the United States in 1990. He holds a bachelor's degree in Medicine with a focus in Psychiatry.
