His only American cinematic or television production involving any of his trained exotic animals was The Walt Disney Company's live action theatrical blockbuster George of the Jungle (1997). A few scenes featuring his trained male African lion, Bongo, were filmed on the Kualoa Ranch in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Paramount's The Ghost and the Darkness (1996) was filmed in Kenya and South Africa.
