Is Will Smith ready to release new music? Well, not so fast. The actor did admit to HipHollywood.com that Kanye West has been urging the star to get back to his musical roots. "I've been messing around with Kanye," he revealed. "We went in the studio a couple times, so I might get the bug. I'm not going to do it unless I'm truly inspired, but Ye's been pushing me a little bit." Smith's already dipping his toe back into the musical pool. In case you haven't heard, Kanye West will flex his acting skills in the upcoming sequel to Anchorman, titled Anchorman: The Legend Continues. Details about West's role (which will be his first feature film) are being kept under wraps, but some photos of West, in some retro gear, shooting scenes from the film in Atlanta were posted last week. And now, photos of Drake on the set of the film have also surfaced, as you can see above, and in full below. No word on what his contribution to the film will be either. Will Ferrell and the cast of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues have been spotted shooting the comedy in New York.
The sequel, which opens in cinemas on December 20, will follow San Diego's Channel 4 news team as they must adjust to 24-hour rolling news coverage.
The New York pictures reveal a cameo role for rapper Drake, the four stars recreating The Beatles' Abbey Road album cover and the suggestion of a battle scene to rival the first film's epic showdown.
Alongside Ferrell's Ron Burgundy, returning cast members include Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner and Christina Applegate.
Harrison Ford will feature as a legendary newscaster, while Kristen Wiig, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Liam Neeson, Sacha Baron Cohen, Nicole Kidman and Kanye West will also have parts in the film.

It looks like Kanye West wants to ball with the kid. In a new interview with HipHollywood.com, Will Smith said that West has been "pushing" him to record music once again.
"I've been messing around with Kanye. We were in the studio a couple of times," Smith revealed. "I might get the bug. I'm not going to do it unless I get truly inspired, but 'Ye's been pushing me a little bit."
Connecting Smith and West at this particular time feels like a publicist's dream, as both stars have projects coming out in the next few weeks (Smith's "After Earth" arrives on May 31; West's "Yeezus" is out June 18). Will Ferrell's "Anchorman" sequel's subtitle might be "The Legend Continues" but it should probably be re-dubbed "A Series Of Potentially Distracting Cameo Appearances" (although that would be really hard to fit on the marquee). Kanye West, Tina Fey, Kristin Wiig, Nicole Kidman, Sacha Baron Cohen, Amy Poehler (whom "Anchorman" die hards will remember had a sizable role in the first film, only to see her entire subplot deleted from the final product), Liam Neeson, John C. Reilly, Jim Carrey and Harrison Ford have all shot cameos for the hotly anticipated sequel (also: an animatronic shark).
