The Romanian government is considering tax incentives to attract more foreign producers to shoot in the country.

Speaking at a workshop today as part of the Transilvania International Film Festival’s (Tiff) industry programme, festival president Tudor Giurgiu said that tax incentives were included in draft proposals for amending the Cinema Law.

These proposals were recently submitted to the Ministry of Culture and other government ministries as part of the consultation process “to create a more healthy climate for the film industry in Romania”.

They also aim to revamp and strengthen national film fund Cnc so it can play a more strategic role in the nation’s audiovisual landscape; identify additional sources of funding such as production, distribution and exhibition; make the decision-making process more transparent; and encourage more support for minority co-productions.

Alex Traila, a Cnc board member and Culture Ministry counsellor, said one crucial change to the funding procedure is to move from the existing »

Legends Of Tomorrow: exploring season 1’s cliffhanger ending

Legends Of Tomorrow ended its first season with a big ol’ hint of things to come. With spoilers, here’s what it meant...

This article contains spoilers for Legends Of Tomorrow’s season 1 finale, as well as revealing Zoom from The Flash’s secret identity.

Vandal Savage is dead; murdered at three different points in time. (Even some serious ashes-tampering by Malcolm Merlyn surely couldn’t undo that... could it?) But the story of Rip Hunter and The Waverider crew - now sans Kendra and Carter - is far from finished.

Legends Of Tomorrow will return for a second season as part of The CW’s fall 2016-2017 line up. As such, season 1 ended with a standard-issue tease of things to come. Shortly after Dominic Purcell’s Mick mentioned being hungry for chicken and the gang began wandering away, another Waverider crash landed from the sky in a big puff of smoke. »

This Fan-Favourite Character Won't Return In Season 2 Of Legends Of Tomorrow

19 May 2016 7:51 PM, PDT | ComicBookMovie.com | See recent ComicBookMovie news »

Tonight's season finale of Legends of Tomorrow featured Hawkman and Hawkgirl deciding that they wanted to go off and start a life together in peace now that Vandal Savage has finally been dealt with (three times). As a result, Ciara Renée - a series regular in season one - is now exiting that role. Falk Hentschel was only ever a recurring guest star, so his departure isn't quite so surprising.  "We went through the team, made a list of all the characters and started to think of stories for them," producer Marc Guggenheim explains about the decision to say goodbye to Hawkgirl. "When we got to Hawkman and Hawkgirl, we had trouble coming up with stories. The bow was tied so tightly and neatly with their story in the finale, that everything we thought of felt very forced. After 4000 years, they were no longer under the specter of Vandal, and »

TV Review: DC's Legends of Tomorrow "Destiny"

13 May 2016 8:08 AM, PDT | LRMonline.com | See recent LRM Online news »

Legends of Tomorrow has had a difficult time finding its footing throughout the season.  One of the disadvantages with this show compared to Arrow or The Flash is the lack of a direct source material for the writers to reference.  Never once in the DC comic realm has this combination of characters been put together, so this show really had to start from scratch.  The main struggle for the show has always been the balance of character arcs. Overall this episode compared to the rest of the season was one of the best.  If you were to look at some of the stronger episodes this season they all have a commonality of very little screen time for Kendra or Carter.  These two have been the toughest for writers to get the audience to care for.

The focus of the show has slowly gone away from both Hawkman and Hawkgirl being the key to stop Savage, »

Chronos Returns In First Look Images From Next Week’s Legends Of Tomorrow

The CW has released the first official images from next week’s episode of Legends of Tomorrow, and they feature the unexpected return of Chronos. One of the show’s biggest twists came when we learned that it was Heat Wave inside that armour, but he’s since been reformed, so what leads him to return to that role is hard to say.

However, based on the synopsis for “Destiny,” it sounds like the Time Masters may have some sort of mental control over Rory which forces him to take on this villainous persona once again. Check it out for yourself below:
