SXSW: What TV Shows Are Heading to the Austin Festival?

Now in its 30th year, SXSW is heading back to Austin for more than a week filled of music, screenings, BBQ and tacos — and this year, television has a major presence at the Texas fest. Historically a celebration of film, music and interactive events, SXSW started introducing TV to its lineup with panel, screenings and stunts over the past few years, as part of the “episodic” programming.

'Twin Peaks' SXSW Events to Feature Kyle MacLachlan, Neko Case

Twin Peaks is heading to Austin for the South by Southwest Conference and Film Festival. Showtime's two-day event will feature one of the show's stars and a host of artist performances "inspired by the series." It takes place March 16th-17th at The Showtime House at Clive Bar on Rainey Street.

The lineup includes Neko Case, Real Estate, M. Ward, Tame Impala's Cameron Avery and Let's Eat Grandma, among other artists. Kyle MacLachlan, who plays series star Special Agent Dale Cooper, is slated to make an appearance during the first night's events. »

On March 16 and March 17, fans can attend The Showtime House at Clive Bar on Rainey Street in Austin, Texas to dive into the world of the cult hit show.
