Santa Monica Gomez
- Actress
Monica Gomez was born in Venezuela, South America. She studied
classical ballet, tap and jazz, as well as traditional dances. Her
early show business career was primarily as a dancer. Her stunning
beauty, long blond hair, and very shapely body lead to her role as a
host on a popular Spanish-speaking television show produced and filmed
in Miami Beach, Florida. The show was a take-off of the popular U.S.
show, Candid Camera. The beautiful Gomez frequently commented that she
spent her free-time at home, avoiding the night-club scenes of South
Beach. It's through these comments that she earned the nickname "Santa"
Monica. "Santa" is the Spanish word for saint.
