Paris Hilton is begging her British fans to help her and pampered pooch Tinkerbell win a tog celebrity dog challenge.

The socialite's pet Chihuahua is among the favourites to land a leading prize at the upcoming Boomerang Pet Personality Awards, and she's taking the contest so seriously she has asked devotees to vote for her mutt.

In a post to followers on microblogging site Twitter.com, Hilton writes, "Hey guys can u (sic) support me and Tink and vote us for this adorable award show?"

The Simple Life star is fighting off tough competition from best pal Nicole Richie's dog Foxxy Cleopatra and Britney Spears' mutt Bit Bit, as well as U.S. President Barack Obama's pet pooch Bo. »

Paris Hilton didn't stay in any one outfit for more than a few hours, displaying everything from sweats to gowns over the course of her busy weekend. On Friday she spent the day at MTV studios with Tinkerbell before going out to dinner with her parents at Mr. Chow. By Saturday night she was hitting the red carpet in Atlantic City where she made an appearance at the club Murmur. Today she was on the go again, headed to Dubai. Paris is as busy as ever these days, and she's actually being recognized for some of her work - Paris Hilton's My New Bff is nominated for a Teen Choice Award in the category of Choice Female Reality/Variety Star.
