While officials now think a locker room attendant may have been responsible for "Deflate Gate," in the Jimmy Kimmel Live sketch, all five Boston natives alleged that they were responsible for letting the air out of the footballs.

"When there's a high-profile crime, all of a sudden a bunch of people come forward and claim they did it, like when the Lindbergh baby was kidnapped, there was a group -- a bunch of people confessed. Same with the Black Dahlia murders," Kimmel said, introducing the segment.

Damon claims he committed the act to help his sick nephew's bronchitis. "So I go and I take a football »

Tom Brady and his bed head hair arrived in Glendale, Ariz. this morning for Super Bowl media day, where the 37-year-old quarterback answered reporters' questions about the big game, which will see the New England Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks.  The press conference comes just five days after the sports star addressed the ongoing allegations against the Patriots, who were accused of playing with underinflated footballs at their Afc Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts.  And thankfully (or should we say unfortunately?) Tom Brady's balls were not the main topic of conversation.  Saturday Night Live took on the NFL scandal in a hilarious sketch starring Taran »

SNL's Patriots Skit Will Make You Laugh - Even If You Haven't Heard of "Deflate-Gate"

25 January 2015 10:01 AM, PST | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

If you've been following the New England Patriots' recent scandal, well, so has Saturday Night Live. This week, quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick appeared at a press conference to address claims that the footballs that the team provided for the Afc Championship Game were underinflated. Accordingly, SNL turned around and aired their own version of that press conference, complete with Taran Killam as Brady. Let's just say he doesn't do a very convincing job of assuring the press that he didn't deflate those balls - until the assistant equipment manager comes up to the mic. »

Blake Shelton on 'SNL': 3 Sketches You Have to See

Country superstar and The Voice coach extraordinaire Blake Shelton knows what he's good at – that would be singing – which is probably why the five-time Grammy nominee spent his first episode hosting Saturday Night Live belting out so many jams. Instead of relying on Shelton's acting skills or comedic chops to win laughs, the sketch show frequently cast him as a singer or shoved a guitar into his hands for some mild comedy. Shelton played so many different troubadours during the episode, including a country singer who sort of looks like »

Considering how much it dominated the public conversation this past week, it was a given that Saturday Night Live was going to take on the New England Patriots and the football controversy people have dubbed "DeflateGate." The show quickly cut to the chase on Saturday's show, using the scandal as fodder for the episode's cold open. Featured player Beck Bennett brought the proper amount of grumpiness to his portrayal of Patriots Coach Bill Belichick (who loves Tom Brady like a son, "just more of an estranged son that I wouldn't trust around footballs"), and Taran Killam gets to play Tom Brady, »

Recap: 'Saturday Night Live' – Blake Shelton

24 January 2015 8:00 PM, PST | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

Look: maybe this won’t be so bad? This has been a pretty stellar season of “Saturday Night Live,” by far the best and most consistent since I’ve started covering it here at the start of Season 36. So who could blame the show for picking a host based on corporate synergy rather than comedic talent? Plenty of hosts serve a larger purpose than “comedic quality” when they appear, and at least we are sure that Blake Shelton isn’t ashamed of making a fool of himself. (We have his cringe-inducing holiday specials as evidence of that.) Look: Shelton is an incredibly charismatic host on “The Voice,” but nothing I’ve seen there screams that he’ll be well-suited for hosting “SNL.” Still, my fears are really based on nothing but fears: hosts as varied as Bruno Mars and Eli Manning have turned in more-than-credible jobs as host, and I »

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots beat the Indianapolis Colts in Sunday's Afc Championship game, which means the hot quarterback and his team are headed to the Super Bowl. Tom took to Facebook to share his excitement for the new Afc Championship title, and he brought his wife, Gisele Bündchen, in on the fun, too. He posted a sweet snap with the caption, "Thank You New England!!!" after also sharing photos of his three children cheering him on. Tom is no stranger to this honor since he's now won it six times while with the Patriots. They'll take on the Seattle Seahawks on Feb. 1, but even if you're not into the game, there will be plenty to watch. Katy Perry is performing during halftime, Idina Menzel will sing the National Anthem, and John Legend will take the microphone for "America the Beautiful." »
