Last week, Marvel officially announced the cast for next year’s Phase Three threequel Thor: Ragnarok, and now two of the stars of the God of Thunder’s next solo adventure have been discussing the film in Mark Ruffalo, who will be reprising the role of The Hulk, and new addition Karl Urban, who is set to portray Skurge the Executioner.

“It’s an intergalactic buddy road movie with Banner and Thor,” Ruffalo tells E! Online. “I think it will be smashing. You’ll see a lot more Hulk. The Hulk gets Hulk-ier. The Hulk Hulks out. Hulk-ier and bigger. [Cate Blanchett] plays the worst of the worst. So evil. She is going to kill us. [Hela] is such a great part she gets to play.”

‘Blindspot’ Finale Sneak Peek: Jane Doesn’t Know Who to Trust

23 May 2016 9:03 AM, PDT | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

The “Blindspot” Season 1 finale is upon us, and we have plenty of questions going into the final hour, including whether Jane Doe really is Taylor Shaw, following last week’s deathbed confession that Weller’s father apparently did kill Taylor as a child, leaving her “under the fort.” If that’s true, then who is Jane?

Regardless of her real identity, Jane is running out of people to believe in, after Oscar shot and killed Mayfair in Episode 22 to prevent the disgraced FBI boss from revealing the truth about Jane’s unwitting frame job. In Variety‘s exclusive sneak peek from the May 23 season finale, we see Jane reach out to a former suspect, hacker Ana Montes (guest star Aimee Carrero), who was first introduced in Episode 6, for help with Oscar.

“Someone I trusted did something horrible — I don’t know who I can trust anymore,” Jane tells Ana. “I »

Coping with the death of a loved one is difficult enough on its own. Mourning your father after learning he might have killed your childhood friend? That’s an entirely different burden, which Kurt Weller will shoulder in tonight’s Blindspot season finale (NBC, 10/9c).

TVLine has an exclusive sneak peek at the episode, in which Weller — still reeling from the revelation that his dad may have murdered Taylor Shaw — decides to investigate his father’s confession. (And even though Sarah tries her best to talk Weller off the ledge, it’s clear she isn’t entirely convinced of her dad’s innocence, »

Jaimie Alexander may be in Thor: Ragnarok after all

While most Marvel fans were pleased with yesterday’s official cast list for Thor: Ragnarok, which featured such surprise names as Jeff Goldblum and Karl Urban, many also couldn’t help but noticed that the name of Thor series regular Jaimie Alexander was nowhere to be found. Alexander, who portrayed fan favorite character Lady Sif in both 2011’s Thor and 2013’s Thor: The Dark World, was, despite some conflicting reports, expected to return for the third installment, so her exclusion from the list left a large number of people confused. The Hollywood Reporter writer Borys Kit even tweeted out the following…

Not returning to the movie is Jamie Alexander, who plays Sif. Conflict with her Blindspot tv show, according to sources.

Jaimie Alexander's Blindspot tattooing process may be grueling, but it's not dangerous. Confirmed: No Natalie Portman In 'Thor: Ragnarok,' and Why!

16 May 2016 8:45 AM, PDT | LatinoReview | See recent LatinoReview news »

Back in April, when it was announced that Creed's Tessa Thompson had joined Thor: Ragnarok, that news ran parallel to the revelation that Natalie Portman's Jane Foster would not be back for the threequel. This news struck some as rather surprising, considering how important Foster factored into the plots of the first two Thor movies. Marvel honcho Kevin Feige has now come out to confirm those reports and explain a bit of how/why Foster didn't make the cut.

Feige recently sat down to record an episode of the Empire Film Podcast, and when asked about the reports that Portman/Jane would sit Thor: Ragnarok out he said, "I can confirm that, yes." But he didn't stop there. Feige outlined the main reason that Jane would be absent, and it's primarily because of the nature of the story being told. "There are only a couple of scenes on Earth in this movie. »

Natalie Portman Won't Be in 'Thor: Ragnarok' for 'Many Reasons'

Sorry, Jane. Thor is apparently moving on without you. Maybe try Tarzan?

Natalie Portman co-starred in 2011's "Thor" and the 2013 sequel "Thor: The Dark World," but Marvel honcho Kevin Feige confirmed that Portman's Jane Foster will be absent from the third movie, "Thor: Ragnarok," which is scheduled for release on November 3, 2017.

In a podcast with Empire Film (via Heroic Hollywood), Feige sort of explained why the Oscar-winning star won't be returning:

"Many reasons. Many of which are in the film so you will see that. There are only a couple of scenes on Earth in this movie; 80 to 90 percent takes place in the cosmos."

What, Jane isn't allowed to leave the planet again, but everyone else is?

When "Creed" star Tessa Thompson was announced to join the cast, it was taken as a hint that Jane was getting the boot so Thompson could be Thor's new love interest. (First Pepper, »

Thor 3 Director Gets Explosion Advice from His Marvel Peers

12 May 2016 4:24 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Back in October, shortly after director Taika Waititi signed on to direct Thor: Ragnarok, a report surfaced that claimed this third Thor adventure was the Marvel Cinematic Universe's darkest movie yet. The report claimed that Taika Waititi, best known for light-hearted indie comedies like Eagle vs. Shark and last year's What We Do In the Shadows, was brought on to add some comedic balance into the mix. While we'll have to wait until next November to see how this balance plays out when Thor 3 hits theaters, the filmmaker showed off his humorous side yesterday in a spirited Twitter conversation with Marvel directors James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Peyton Reed (Ant-Man).

Last night, the director took to his Twitter page to ask James Gunn and Peyton Reed how many explosions he should put in his movie. The director added that he currently only has one explosion, and it's »

The first season of Blindspot is about to wrap up, so things are really starting to hit the fan. Oh sure, we’ve seen bad guys (and bad FBI guys) die off, but really this show is starting to become less about solving the mysteries buried on Jane’s (Jaimie Alexander) body and more about solving what’s going on with our FBI team. This week’s episode, “Of Whose Uneasy Route” — that’s “To Your New Safe House, anagram fans — again throws Jane’s tattoos to the side for a good, old-fashioned hacker story.
