The Moody Blues

Trivia:

The name "Moody Blues" came about because band founder Mike Pinder was trying to get a sponsorship from a brewery named Mitchells and Butlers, and thought if he came up with a name with the same initials it might sway the brewery (it didn't). He picked "Moody" because one of his favorite songs was Duke Ellington's "Mood Indigo" and "Blues" because he was a fan of blues music. See more trivia »
