Mini Bio (1)
Miri Ben-Ari, a classically trained violinist, was hoping to have a career in jazz until she heard "One More Chance" by The Notorious B.I.G. and it inspired her to use her talents in R&B and hip-hop instead. She was discovered by Wyclef Jean, and after that, she started working with artists like R&B singer Alicia Keys and hip-hop MCs such as Jay Z, Kanye West, and Twista. In 2005, after much hype, she finally released her debut album, "The Hip-Hop Violinist."
