Imogen Thomas has been revealed as the new face of weight loss product Slimsticks. The Welsh model and former Big Brother star, who claims to have dropped a dress size since using the aid, signed up after previously speaking about her struggle to keep her weight under control. ''My problem is that I absolutely love food so I find it difficult to control my weight. I have tried many diets but never stuck to them because they stop me eating the foods that I like," Thomas said. "Then someone suggested trying Slimsticks. I hadn't heard about it but after looking on their website, I thought I'd give it a go, especially as Slimsticks is natural and had no side-effects. Ryan Giggs's affair scandal has reportedly cost him an estimated £1.5m. The footballer was originally granted an injunction last year to ban press reports about his affair with Big Brother star Imogen Thomas. However, the news spread on Twitter and Giggs was later named as the man behind the court order by Liberal Democrat MP John Hemming in the House of Commons, allowing it to be published in the UK. The High Court yesterday threw out a damages claim brought by the Manchester United midfielder against The Sun newspaper for printing the story. Imogen Thomas has said that she wants to "get her life back" as she continues to move on from the fallout of her affair with Ryan Giggs. The Manchester United footballer recently dropped the anonymity injunction which had prevented him from being named. Speaking to Nuts magazine, Thomas said: "I just want to get my life back and move on to do something that's not related to last year's events." Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs has consented to legally be named as the Premier League footballer who The Sun referred to in an article last year about an alleged extra-marital affair.
Giggs has admitted for the first time that he sought an injunction last April against The Sun newspaper over an alleged affair, believed to be with former Big Brother contestant Imogen Thomas. His lawyer Hugh Tomlinson QC has told the High Court that Giggs has allowed the lifting of the anonymity of his name as part of the injunction.
Meanwhile Giggs is seeking damages against The Sun for the distress caused by the article, alleging a breach of privacy by their actions for the repeated publications of his name in regards to the alleged affair after his name was leaked in other newspapers and on the internet. Natasha Giggs and Imogen Thomas have exchanged insults on Twitter over their affairs with footballer Ryan Giggs.
