Chris Barrett became nationally known as the very first "Corporate Sponsored College Student in America." With the sponsor "First USA" part of the Corporation Bank One, he garnered over 12 million dollars in publicity and over 80 million media impressions within 48 hours of the first national announcement. He has been featured on the Today Show, CBS Early Show, ABC, NBC, FOX, MSNBC, CNN, and Talk Shows. Featured in People Magazine twice in March 2001 issue and the "25 Most Intriguing people" December 2001 issue, Seventeen Magazine, Teen Magazine, CosmoGirl!, Entrepreneur, Fortune, NY Times, LA Times. New York Post, BBC, over 400 radio shows, and much more. Chris is now taking his "spokesguy" fame and transitioning it into film and television, he is not only acting but also producing.

He became the first corporate sponsored college student in America.
Chose to go to Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
He is one of the youngest patent holders in America for the the invention "My Little Footsteps" which shows children which shoe goes on which foot by using a sticker that goes inside the sole of their shoes.
He accepted the Audience Award for Best Documentary at the 2004 Philadelphia Film Festival and gave a speech on behalf of Co-Directors Mark Achbar, Jennifer Abbott, and Writer Joel Bakan, for the film "The Corporation".
