- Keiichi Tsuchiya was born on January 30, 1956. He is an actor and producer, known for The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), Doraibingu Hai! (1993) and Initial D: Third Stage (2001).
- The use of color lyme green, which appears on his helmet, overall and also on Kei Office employee and D1 Grand Prix driver Yasuyuki Kazama's Nissan S15 Silvia. Also appears often in various episodes of Initial D as shots of driver overalls
- Holds the Usui course record with his Honda NSX-R
- The manga/anime Initial D's lead character Takumi was based on Keiichi as both of them started out to explore their local Touge while doing regular deliveries for their family business.
- Settled for second place in the 1999 Le Mans 24 hour race after co-driver Ukyo Katayama suffered a tire puncture in the last hour of the race whilst lapping a BMW which forced his Toyota GT-One into the grass
- 1995 GT2 class winner in a Honda NSX at the Le Mans 24 hour race
- Retired from professional racing at the end of the 2003 season
