Kevin Dillon's Favorite Entourage Scene Was Cut Because An A-Lister Bailed On His Cameo

22 May 2015 12:05 PM, PDT | cinemablend.com | See recent Cinema Blend news »

Something like the Entourage cast returning for a big-screen version of the hit HBO series should have been a joyous occasion, but production was unfortunately plagued with dilemma after dilemma. Even worse than getting a project like this off the ground, and the widely publicized pay disputes among the cast members, is the most egregious setback you could possibly think of: Channing Tatum canceled his cameo.  Can you imagine an Entourage movie without a few seconds of Channing? The Magic Mike star with hips that don.t lie was originally supposed to appear in a scene that was the favorite of actor Kevin Dillon, who plays Johnny "Drama" Chase. The sequence in question took place during a massive party at the house of Turtle (Jerry Ferrara). As Dillon told The Hollywood Reporter, it has cameos "up the yin-yang" with 20 trailers, one for each of the celebrities. Tatum was supposed to »

Jeremy Piven Is Making Way More Than His Entourage Co-Stars

21 May 2015 8:39 AM, PDT | cinemablend.com | See recent Cinema Blend news »

In the same way that Vincent Chase makes umpteen times more money than his merry band of cohorts in Entourage, it turns out that Jeremy Piven managed to negotiate a rather sweet and lucrative deal when signing on for the adaptation of the HBO comedy. In fact, Piven is actually being paid more than double the amount of co-stars Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara, and Kevin Dillion. During an in-depth profile piece of the posse for The Hollywood Reporter ahead of the film.s release, the cast talked at ease about how they each came on-board and orchestrated their contracts. Adrian Grenier explained that their previous contracts with HBO had of course come to an end at the same time as the show. He added: The previous deal for the show was over, so we all had the right to negotiate however much we wanted for the movie. At »

Over 30 New Entourage Movie Images Are Super Chill, Bro

15 May 2015 1:50 PM, PDT | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

Warner Bros. has released a large batch of high-resolution images from the upcoming Entourage movie, written and directed by series creator Doug Ellin. The film picks up where the series left off, with Ari (Jeremy Piven) now a successful studio head and Vince (Adrien Grenier) stretching his “talent” by making his feature directorial debut on a supernatural adaptation of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Warner Bros. (and HBO) is no doubt hoping to mirror the success of Sex and the City, which made the leap to the big screen to the tune of $415 million worldwide—which is pretty darn great for an R-rated film. Its feature film sequel fared less well, but still did solid business, so the question now is whether the “boys” will turn out in droves for Entourage or if the show’s been off the air too long to elicit enthusiasm for a feature film continuation. »

Vincent Chase makes the gamble of his life in new Entourage teaser

1 May 2015 1:02 PM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - Movie News news »

Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) makes the biggest gamble of his life in a brand new teaser for the Entourage movie.

The upcoming movie re-joins Vince and his inner-circle - Eric (Kevin Connolly), Drama (Kevin Dillon) and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) - as he risks his career to direct a major Hollywood movie.

When the movie spirals $15 million over budget, it's up to Vince's agent and advisor Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) to help him bring the movie back from the brink.

Billy Bob Thornton and Haley Joel Osment join the Entourage cast as members of a demanding billionaire family who bankroll Vince's movie.

The movie will also include a cameo from Piers Morgan in a scene that catches viewers up on the life of Vincent Chase since the HBO series ended.

Entourage is set for release on June 3 in the Us and June 19 in the UK. »

The Questions About the Entourage Movie You've Been Secretly Dying to Know

24 April 2015 2:05 PM, PDT | BuzzSugar | See recent BuzzSugar news »

By the look of the Entourage trailers, the big-screen version of the HBO hit will be a welcome continuation of the fun-loving series, but just where will we pick up with Vince, Eric, Drama, and Turtle? I went on a set visit last year with a group of reporters to observe a day of Entourage's shooting and sit down with principal actors Adrian Grenier, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Connolly, and Kevin Dillon, along with writer and director Doug Ellin (who also created the TV show). Each star gave us a few details about where their characters start the movie, which picks up about "seven or eight months" after the events in the TV series finale, according to Ellin. As for where they end up at the end of the movie, well, you have to wait until June 5. Vince Vince's career is still hot, and like a lot of actors, now he wants to direct. »

9 Things You Need to Know About the 'Entourage' Movie

23 April 2015 1:00 PM, PDT | Moviefone | See recent Moviefone news »

The gang is back in the "Entourage" movie, which picks up about seven months after the series finale and finds everyone living a whole lot larger with Ari (Jeremy Piven) running a studio and Vince (Adrian Grenier) directing his first movie. That's Hollywood.

Last year, we were invited to "Turtle's Malibu beach house" set, where we chatted with stars Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara, and director Doug Ellin. Here's the vital info we learned about the big-screen baller reunion, which hits theaters June 3rd.

1. Vince is now a director.

The movie is called "Hyde," a modern-day version of "Jekyll and Hyde," where Dr. Hyde is a Tony Stark-style genius chemist "with a dark side," according to production designer Chase Harlan. E is producing, Vince is directing, and Drama's got a small role. "The guys have a lot riding on this new movie, and because it's Ari's first movie at the studio, »

While Paramount mostly focused on two films during their CinemaCon presentation (Terminator Genisys and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation), Warner Bros. took a different path by showcasing almost every one of their upcoming movies with the stars of each film introducing the footage to attendees. 'Magic Mike Xxl' and a potential Johnny Depp comeback top WB's CinemaCon sneaks

22 April 2015 12:50 AM, PDT | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

Las Vegas - Warner Bros. is still the grand old lady of Hollywood and the studio brought out a slew of stars for its annual CinemaCon presentation.  They also, unlike some of their sister studios, pretty much went through their entire slate for 2015 and dipped a toe into 2016.  What really got us percolating, however, were the first signs of a Johnny Depp comeback. Depp, who hasn't had a real hit since 2011's "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," wasn't physically in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, but his appearance in an extended preview for Scott Cooper's "Black Mass" was revelatory.  "Mass" is a biopic about the notorious Boston mafia boss Whitey Bulger who spent 16 years on the run from the FBI.  The footage begins with Depp as Bulger at what appears to be a card game or dinner.  He begins to joke around with John Morris (David Harbour).
