Check out this new poster for the fourth season of the Power TV show. Starz has announced Power, season four, will premiere on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 9:00pm on the Starz premium channel, but for those fans who watch via the Starz app or On Demand, the season four debut episode will be available even earlier -- beginning at 12:01am.Power stars Omari Hardwick, Lela Loren, Naturi Naughton, Joseph Sikora, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Lucy Walters, Adam Huss, Andy Bean, Luis Antonio Ramos, Greg Serano, Shane Johnson, J.R. In today’s TV News Roundup, Chuck Lorre’s new Netflix series gets a premiere date, History is set to release a docu-series on drug trafficking, and USA announces a stacked recurring cast for Season 2 of “Shooter”. 


Netflix announced that “Disjointed,” a new comedy series co-created by Chuck Lorre, will premiere on August 25 along with releasing a brief teaser. The 30-minute sitcom follows Kathy Bates as Ruth, a lifelong advocate for marijuana legalization, as she finally realizes her dream of owning an L.A. cannabis dispensary (with the help of several “budtenders”). The series also stars Tone Bell, Aaron Moten, Elizabeth Alderfer, Dougie Baldwin, and Elizabeth Ho.

History announced the premiere date for its upcoming, limited documentary series, “America’s War On Drugs“. This four-part, eight-hour series examines the untold true story of how the secret alliances of drug traffickers and covert government operations has shaped American culture over the past fifty years. It »

Jerry Ferrara, Jesse Bradford and Todd Lowe will join USA Network’s Ryan Phillippe-starrer Shooter as recurring characters, the network said today. Beverly D'Angelo will be back when the show returns for its second season July 18. USA Network is adding to the cast of Shooter, starring Ryan Phillippe.

Jerry Ferrara, Jesse Bradford and Todd Lowe have joined the second season of the drama as recurring characters. In addition, Beverly D'Angelo (National Lampoon's Vacation) will return for a second season.

A co-production of Paramount TV and Universal Cable Productions, Shooter is based on the best-selling novels Point of Impact and Time to Hunt by Stephen Hunter and the 2007 Paramount film starring Mark Wahlberg. Bill Murray is having one helluva sports year.

The actor was seen proudly cheering and celebrating 11-seed Xavier University’s victory over 2-seed University of Arizona during Thursday’s Ncaa tournament matchup at Sap Center in San Jose, California.

And Murray, whose son is an assistant coach for Xavier’s basketball team, had the best time at the game.

He made “X” gestures by crossing his arms to show his support for the Musketeers, and even rubbed the head of Sister Rose Ann Fleming, the 77-year-old nun who makes sure all of Xavier’s student-athletes live up to the University’s academic standards. »
