After a lengthy courtship, some celeb-watchers may have wondered what was taking Jared Kushner so long to propose to Ivanka Trump. "Jared is my best friend for many reasons,” she tells New York magazine. "I've allowed him to see who I truly am and he still loves me. I don't feel like I have any defensive walls built up around me." She continues: "He's a bit of a hero of mine. His ability to remain focused

Presidential Address. President Barack Obama. From PatrickMcMullan.com. He is the most famous man in the world, so it should be no surprise that President Obama’s speech at the N.A.A.C.P.’s 100th anniversary dinner, in New York City, got the kind of press that publicists only dream of. His passionate appearance was certainly the event of the night, taking the bar a little higher than what most PatrickMcmullan.com dwellers are used to. Also, Diddy was there! In another a very different sphere, the New York premiere of the film Homecoming made news for all the wrong reasons. While the appearance of star Mischa Barton had been touted in Page Six, the former Orange County star instead spent her night treading the red carpet of Cedar Sinai’s psych ward. This likely was likely an unneeded blow for the film’s producer Bingo Gubelmann, who

Kristen Bell, Phillip Lim, and Rachel Bilson. From PatrickMcMullan.com. The party scene picked up on Wednesday, as everyone who wasn’t getting engaged or seeing Harry Potter hit the scene. Diane von Furstenberg held court at her New York City store with all the major media heavyweights at a party to celebrate society icon Gloria Vanderbilt’s blush-worthy new book, Obsession: An Erotic Tale. Von Furstenberg and her husband, Barry Diller, mingled with Liz Smith, Hamish Bowles, Fran Lebowitz, and Barbara Walters. The Met's Costume Institute Gala did not disappoint last night in NYC, bringing us one of the most star-studded red carpets of the year. The theme was "Model as Muse," which apparently brought out some interesting fashion choices. Kate Moss and Marc Jacobs were two of the hosts and had all eyes on them when they arrived first and her outfit included a turban. Justin Timberlake was also the man of the evening with Jessica Biel on his arm. Rihanna switched it up for her first red carpet appearance in months and still looked sexy in her dramatic menswear. Josh Jackson and Diane Kruger can do no wrong in our eyes so it was not a surprise that they're perfectly put together. Something must have gotten into the Gossip Girl ladies because they both went with bold choices - Blake slicked down her hair and showed off a long sexy

Melissa in particular feels left out when she proposes the idea and Brande and Annie Duke answer her with silence. On the other side, Jesse is also pissed when Clint starts to take everything over without group discussion.
Melissa thinks that Brande maybe the project manager but Annie is clearly directing her in a manipulative way. Meanwhile, Jesse is even madder when Clint disagrees with his idea of getting back to Lee's root but has none of his own.

Post the firing of Brian McKnight last week, "The Apprentice" second celebrity edition continues the charity event where teams must auction jewelries from Ivanka Trump's line. In between the works, drama still continued but surprisingly it was peaceful between Joan Rivers and Clint Black over at Kotu.
There will be a fund raising event involving fashion show that the teams must prepare. Annie Duke in particular threw her tantrum when she found out that Natalie Gulbis had contacted her poker associate to donate for her team. Natalie and Annie are in two different teams. "I got the exact reaction I was hoping for. Unfortunately, I didn't get the money," Natalie said after Annie lashed out at her.
