Alexis Iacono products
Alexis Iacono started her performance career acting in a Purina cereal commercial when she was ten-months-old and she hasn't stopped since. Growing up in Bayside, Queens, New York, Alexis' artistic sensibilities have been shaped by a world-class theatre and arts community. Her early stage work included playing Elle in The Meadowlark, Clemintina in The Sicilian Bachelor and leads in Mickey Angelo, Little Women, and Deer Dance, for which she won a Best Actress award at New York's The Sage Theatre. After dancing for several seasons on MTV's The Grind, Alexis held roles in two highly regarded MTV sketch comedy shows. More recently, she portrayed multiple characters in a voice-over recording for Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned as well as a voice presentation for Pepsi Corp.
Concurrent to her theatre and voice work, Alexis has starred in numerous short and feature-length films, including Kiss Me Again (with Darrell Hammond) that premiered at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival, Horizon (2010) and Prescott Place (2010). In 2009, Alexis discussed her experience meeting filmmaker John Cassavetes, in a podcast interview on artistic inspiration for New York City playwright Eric Winick. She has studied at New York City's HB Studio and the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, and is often sighted walking her West Highland White Scottish Terrier, Eddie, through her Long Island neighborhood.
Her father is Sports Illustrated photographer John Iacono.
