Sister of Anna Gordy Gaye, Berry Gordy, and Robert L. Gordy. Aunt of songwriter/recording artist Rockwell, actress Rhonda Ross Kendrick, and songwriter Stefan Gordy. Grandaunt of Jermaine Jackson II.
She turned the original Detroit headquarters of Motown Records into the Motown Historical Museum. She was an executive, senior vice president, director of Motown International Operations, and corporate secretary.
