5150 Elm’S Way (aka 5150, Rue Des Ormes)
Stars: Marc-André Grondin, Normand D’Amour, Sonia Vachon, Mylène St-Sauveur | Written by Patrick Senécal | Directed by Éric Tessier
Chess is a game of war. It’s a battle of strategies where only one side can win. What happens when chess becomes an obsession, a means to even argue the right to kill all because of a game that must always be won? What will that obsession do to your life? That is the question posed in 5150 Elm’s Way.
Yannick Bérubé is just a nice guy who falls off his bike on the wrong street. Knocking on a door to try getting help he finds himself dragged into a world of kidnap, torture, insanity, murder and above all chess. He is imprisoned by Jacques Beaulieu who prides himself on his unbeaten run as chess champion. Jacques has a secret though, and that is he’s a killer. »

The anticipated web series La reine rouge, which was written by novelist Patrick Senécal, will premiere on Wednesday May 4.

On each Wednesday, an episode will be put online at 11:59 Pm. However, viewers can watch each episode for $0,99 or the whole first season for $5. The point of this is to finance the production of the series' second season and to make sure that youngsters don't see La reine rouge.
The web series La reine rouge will follow Michelle Beaulieu (Véronique Tremblay), a girl who escaped from her suburban home. Those who read the novel (or have seen the film) 5150, rue des Ormes remembers that she ran away following a killing rampage that occured in her family's house.
