Born in Atlanta, Georgia, as son of Joe Floccari, former NFL wide receiver, who took his son to practice often in his early years. Later he would pursue baseball as a career, & signed a minor league contract with the New York Mets. Floccari went on to play professional Baseball in the Italian Baseball Federation. While playing for a team in Milan, Italy, Floccari DJ-d a National Radio Music Countdown show on Radio Italia.

Floccari obtained a Degree in Journalism from Georgia State University. He came to acting when he auditioned for his first role on the Aaron Spelling TV Series "Savannah." This quickly lead to roles in 2 feature films.

His ex-wife convinced him to quit acting and get a steady career. Soon after he landed numerous jobs in TV News full-time as an Anchor, TV Reporter, Photographer, & Helicopter Reporter. Achieving 4 Television News Emmy's for his work.

During these years Floccari the desire to act and created would not go away. He would shoot TV commercials, music videos, & on short films to entertain his desire to act.

In 2010 Joe Floccari left TV news for good to return to his passion of acting, and has already gained roles in feature film projects soon to be announced.
