Sorry, residents of San Francisco and St. Louis, but according to the good folks at Trion Worlds and Syfy, your towns have a somewhat bleak future ahead, at least in their joint gaming and TV series world of Defiance. Don’t worry, we’re pretty sure it’s only one of several possible futures. While you ponder that, check out the info and featurette about what looks to be a pretty great series and game:

The seemingly endless wait for the Syfy summer schedule is finally over! There is good news and bad, and one thing that is both good and bad. Let’s start with that: the Eureka Season Finale. We love Eureka, so every episode is good news; the fact that it’s a series finale, not so much. Mark your calendars – and have plenty of Kleenex in stock – for July 16 at 9/8c. Right after Comic-Con, which is early this year. We’ll see if that means a panel or not.
The good news: Warehouse 13 and Alphas return on July 23. The hmmm news is that Lost Girl will move to Fridays at 10 on July 20. Hey That’S Haven’S Spot. So Where The Heck Is Haven? Admittedly we had a head’s up that Haven would be pushed to fall when we learned that the DVDs for Season 2 weren’t being released until September but Argh. »

We're finally going to get a movie based on the legendary Winchester Mystery House! I've been wondering when we would get to see an awesome movie based on this creepy old mansion. Hammer has announced that they've optioned the rights to develop a feature length horror film based on what's considered to be the “world’s most haunted house.”
It's fun to explore the realm of the supernatural world, and I took a trip up to the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, CA a few years back to check it out for myself, and I really had a great time. It's such an incredibly creepy house with an intensely awesome and interesting history. I had an absolute blast taking the tour.

Having toured the Winchester Mystery House personally, I can attest to the fact that the place is as odd as they come. Seriously weird. Windows in the floor. Doors that go nowhere. It's truly a sight and the perfect place for a ghost story based upon, well, the real life ghost stories!

As we told you Tuesday, Syfy has announced that their upcoming gaming/TV series hybrid Defiance is set to air in 2013. Now they have released a bit more information about the show, which has begun production in Toronto, including the absolutely fantastic news that Bear McCreary (The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica) will be doing the music. He tweeted to me yesterday that “it’s going to be awesome!” If past performance is any indication, his additions will make the show and game absolutely epic.

The Voice of TV has some recent Bts pics, and Buddy TV talked to Esai (more at the link):
What do we need to know about Esai Morales' character?
