K-pop sensations NewJeans performed “Super Shy” and “Omg” during the 2023 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.
Appearing first in a futuristic set with pulsating lights that framed each of them in separate booths, the quintet — Danielle, Haerin, Hyein, Hanni and Minji — then moved to centerstage where they were joined by a bevy of dancers to perform a fun “Super Shy” that was in-step with the song’s viral choreography. Meanwhile, their Bunnies fans chanted along to the song.

Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein did not come to play with their first EP, and the NewJeans “hype,” for lack of a better word, has no signs of slowing down.
