John Tartaglia was born on February 16, 1978 in Maple Shade, New Jersey, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for Silent But Deadly (2012), Splash and Bubbles (2016) and Shrek the Musical (2013).

Nominated for Broadway's 2004 Tony Award as Best Actor (Musical) for his performance as both Princeton and Rod in "Avenue Q."
Recipient of the 59th Annual Clarence Derwent Award, along with Anika Noni Rose.
At the after-party of his last performance in "Avenue Q," he wore a red Adidas track suit. This was a tongue-in-cheek reference to Idina Menzel's last performance in "Wicked" in which she wore the same suit.
He is one of the youngest puppeteers ever to perform on Sesame Street (1969) (he began part-time at 16 and full-time at 18).
Graduated from Upper Dublin High School in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
