What does American Horror Story have in common with Ravenswood, the pending ABC Family Pretty Little Liars spin-off? Well, both shows tend to deal with mystery, but first and foremost is pretty little actress, Britne Oldford, who is in the news today for joining the Ravenswood cast.
A Canadian actress, Oldford played Cadie Campbell in Skins and Alma Walker in a handful of American Horror Story: Asylum episodes. She was Kit Walker’s wife, Kit having been portrayed by Evan Peters.
Most of the primary cast of the much anticipated Pretty Little Liars spin-off have already been announced. Liars alum, Tyler Blackburn who brings to life Caleb Rivers, will star in Ravenswood, named for the town his character moves to, which seems to be under the influence of a curse, generations deep. Blackburn is one of the stars of the forthcoming series, but the actress most recently announced as joining »

Lucy Hale is one of young Hollywood's hottest stars, and now the Pretty Little Liars actress is hoping to conquer the world of country music. Appearing on the cover of Seventeen's June/July issue, the 23-year-old Tennessee native opens up about her forthcoming debut album. "My album is something I'm really, really, really proud of. I've intentionally been quiet about it because I want the music to speak for itself. People are either going to love it or hate it," Hale tells the magazine. "But I think that [...] »

Apparently showing skin is very in. Then again, if you're a hot, young starlet, showing skin has always been in. Both Lucy Hale and Demi Lovato recently rocked the transparent trend on the red carpet. Though aside from matching bra tops, the two ensembles couldn't be more different. The Pretty Little Liars actress went summery with a sleeveless style and floral bottoms, while the X Factor judge's look has more of a Stevie Nicks-at-a-nightclub vibe. Her Raquel Allegra design is sexy, but also not very youthful. Our vote is for the Lucy's look. But what's your take? »

Twitter bios are tricky. Unlike tweets, which have an ephemeral quality to them, the bios that go under the user's handle are meant to describe "yourself in 160 characters or less." When it comes to celebrities whom everyone knows everything about, that's an even more complicated task.
That's why some go the comedic route.
Look below for a mix of hilarity, irony and pure wit ... that's not always intentional.

Aria thought staying with Ezra hard — but coming face-to-face with her ex will prove even harder!
There are two people you can never escape in Rosewood: “A” and your ex! Aria (Lucy Hale) will learn that first-hand on the June 11 season premiere of Pretty Little Liars, as she “struggles” with seeing Ezra (Ian Harding), following their epic breakup. Anybody want to place bets on when they’ll get back together? I don’t think it’ll be too long.
And speaking of boyfriend problems, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) might want to keep a close on Toby (Keegan Allen). According to the official episode description, “A” will be setting him “on a new path,” which is never good.
Meanwhile, Emily (Shay Mitchell) makes plans for “life after high school” — I’m sorry, does that exist for TV characters? — and the girls “have no choice” but to ask Mona (Janel Parrish) for help against “A. »

Pretty Little Liars fans are prepping for a whole new spin…off, that is. We’ve been following the development of the hot ABC Family’s property’s new spin-off. More mystery and more characters are coming your way. Today we learned that the adorable Tyler Blackburn of the current Pretty Little Liars cast will hop, skip, and jump over to Ravenswood, leading the way into the related series.
Its always a risk, but right now ABC Family is banking on a couple of spin-offs. Followers of The Vampire Diaries are no doubt eager to see where the spin-off called The Originals will take Klaus and his former protege Marcel. And now Ravenswood is coming together, springing from the Pretty Little Liars flagship.
We previously reported on the characters we will meet when we journey to Ravenswood. Miranda is a “disarming” and “fiercely independent” foster child. Abel is a hottie and a loner. »

"Pretty Little Liars" Season 4 makes its debut in June, but ABC Family has released a revealing new poster to tide fans over.
Season 3 of "Pretty Little Liars" ended with (from left to right in the poster) Emily (Shay Mitchell), Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and (not pictured) Mona (Janel Parrish) seeing -- or thinking they saw -- Ali (Sasha Pieterse) beneath the mysterious Red Coat. But the new poster, which you can check out in full below, shows the foursome wearing red coats with the text "Liars Unite."
"There's so much juicy stuff going on. I know we always say stuff like this, but you will actually get most of your questions answered this season. It's crazy. All of the questions fans have will be answered," Pieterse told Wetpaint Entertainment recently of Season 4. "Usually, they keep us in the dark on where the season is headed -- which sucks! »

"The Voice" could be getting a kids version. According to the New York Post, NBC is working on a "Voice" spinoff that would feature contestants between the ages of 8-14.
The Post reports that NBC is looking to film the kid version the same time as the regular adult "Voice" series, but don't expect it for Season 5.
"The Voice Kids" has already been done in Germany, Holland and Finland and Telemundo will launch "La Voz Kids" with both English and Spanish-speaking contestants.
American viewers will remember Fox's "American Juniors" series, a spinoff of "American Idol" that aired for only one season during the summer of 2003. "American Juniors" started off relatively strong in the ratings, but slipped throughout the summer. Fox had planned a second season, but eventually it. "American Juniors" is not without a legacy though: "Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale was one of the winners, earning one of »

The St. Louis Globe-Democrat is a monthly newspaper run by Steve DeBellis, a well know St. Louis historian, and it’s the largest one-man newspaper in the world. The concept of The Globe is that there is an old historic headline, then all the articles in that issue are written as though it’s the year that the headline is from. It’s an unusual concept but the paper is now in its 25th successful year! Steve and I collaborated in May of 2011 on an all-Vincent Price issue of The Globe and I’ve been writing a regular monthly movie-related column since. Since there is no on-line version of The Globe, I post all of my articles here at We Are Movie Geeks. This month’s edition of The Globe takes place in 1865, the year President Lincoln was shot .Steve and I originally decided I would write an article »

Even when Pretty Little Liars is on hiatus, we don't have to wait around for news about the new season. The Pll cast/crew dominates all social media everywhere, so right now, for example, we know that filming is underway for episodes 403 and 404 — "Cats Cradle" and "Face Time" — and that there's plenty of Paige and Emily deliciousness in those episodes. (We also know that the dynamic duo of Norman Buckley and Joesph Dougherty are directing and writing them, respectively.)
Here are some of the photos Dougherty and Buckley tweeted out over the weekend:

Lindsey Shaw and Lucy Hale weighed in on the episode on Twitter:

Pretty Little Liars fans have had a week to recover from the rock 'em sock 'em season three finale, and while the dust has settled on much of the drama, I confess that I am still slack-jawed over the big reveal of "A dAngerous gAme." No, not the reveal that Toby is alive. Or the reveal that Red Coat is Alison Dilaurentis. I am still experiencing residual shock over the confession that Jenna Marshall and Shana Costumeshop are in a romantic relationship. A relationship that brings Rosewood's queer female character count to eight (plus a lesbian bar full of pink drink-ers). It's a number that makes me wonder if Pretty Little Liars is the best lesbian show ever.
Quantity alone can't make such a claim. You also have examine »
