We got our hands on the list of Teen Choice Awards nominees, which means it's time to start guessing: Which movies, songs, and celebrities will come out on top?
This year, the nominations are completely dominated by 2012's biggest blockbuster series, "The Hunger Games" and "Twilight." Both movies are pitted against each other for the Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy award, and we're pretending that this could be a fight to the death.
"Twilight" fans are no stranger to the ongoing Team Edward vs. Team Jacob debate, and the Teen Choice Awards might finally put the question to rest -- both Robert Pattinson, who recently celebrated his 26th birthday and Taylor Lautner are nominated for Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy for their roles in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1." (Twihards, look out for "Breaking Dawn, Part 2," the fifth and final movie in the series, when it hits theaters November 16!)

Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth are both nominated for Hottie awards at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards. While Cyrus competes against Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Kate Upton in Female Hottie category, Hemsworth faces off the likes of Justin Bieber, Robert Pattinson, Ian Somerhalder and Ryan Gosling in Male Hottie category.
The former "Hannah Montana" star is also nominated for Choice Fashion Icon: Female. Her rivals include such high-fashion celebrities as Perry, Nicki Minaj, Zooey Deschanel and Jennifer Lopez. As for Male Fashion Icon, Bieber, Chris Colfer, Cee-Lo Green, Justin Timberlake and will.i.am are all set to face against one another.
In Music, Bieber has to face strong contenders like Drake, Bruno Mars, Pitbull and Blake Shelton for the coveted Choice Male Artist award. Meanwhile, the likes of Perry, Lopez, Adele, Rihanna and Taylor Swift are all vying for the top prize of Choice Female Artist. »

The Teen Choice Awards has released its first wave of nominees for the 2012 awards show, which will air Sunday, July 22, on Fox. The CW's "The Vampire Diaries" leads the pack of nominees with six nominations, while "Boyfriend" singer Justin Bieber and Fox's "American Idol" each got five nominations.
And just when you thought they couldn't come up with any more categories for the already lengthy list, the show has added Choice Book and Choice Electronic Dance Music (Edm) Artist.
Starting Friday (May 18), fans ages 13-19 can vote once each day per category for their favorite nominees on the Teen Choice Awards site.

Teen Choice Awards 2012 Nominees Announced
The first wave of nominees for the 2012 Teen Choice Awards have been announced and leading the way on the TV side are two decidedly different shows. Tied with six nominations apiece are The Vampire Diaries and American Idol, with everything from Fringe to Gossip Girl picking up at least one nomination. Last year, The Vampire Diaries led all shows in number of wins, totaling five with victories for the show (Choice TV Show: Fantasy/Sci-Fi), Ian Somerhalder (Choice TV Actor: Fantasy/Sci-Fi), Nina Dobrev (Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi), Kat Graham (Choice TV: Female Scene Stealer), and Michael Trevino (Choice TV: Male Scene Stealer).
Listed below are the first round of TV nominations. Before last year's ceremony, another round was released three weeks following the first round and included categories like Choice Summer TV Show and Choice TV: Breakout Star.

American Idol and The Vampire Diaries lead this year’s Teen Choice award nominations, netting five apiece.
Gossip Girl and Nikita follow with four, while NCIS: Los Angeles badass Linda Hunt, 67, is poised to repeat in the TV Actress/Action category, provided she can once again best the kick-butt quartet of Maggie Q (Nikita), Lyndsy Fonseca (Nikita), Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck) and Grace Park (Hawaii Five-0).
Once Upon a Time, Revenge and New Girl are among the freshman shows to break into the pack.

If you haven't been keeping up with our bright and shiny new episodes of "Punk'd," then you've missed a star-studded lineup of guest punk-ers and punk-ees including Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift, Lucy Hale and Josh Hutcherson, and Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth.
If you think it can't get any better than that group of noteworthy, fun-loving and slightly gullible individuals, think again, because the show's godfather himself, executive producer Ashton Kutcher, will return to host a special episode of "Punk'd" on Sunday, June 3 at 8 p.m. Et/Pt on MTV, as part of the 2012 MTV Movie Awards pre-show.

There's been plenty of buzz about who Universal will cast in the upcoming movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, especially with Alexander Skarsgard and Ian Somerhalder expressing interest in playing Christian Grey. But let's shift gears a bit and put the spotlight on the female lead, Anastasia Steele. In the books, Christian's love interest is a 21-year-old who's never had sex before, let alone been involved in a S&M relationship. She's the classic insecure beautiful girl who doesn't know she's beautiful (and therefore spends a lot of time talking about how she's not as good-looking as the guy she's seeing). Amanda Seyfried's name has been tossed out before, but I'd like to see someone who's a little less mainstream. Members of the ABC family headed over to the Sayers Club in Hollywood for the network's upfront party on Tuesday night. The stars of "Pretty Little Liars" and "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," hit the black carpet to promote their upcoming seasons and celebrated afterwards.Joey Lawrence, Shailene Woodley, Daren Kagasoff, Tahj Mowry, Vanessa Marano and Shay Mitchell were some of the celebs in attendance, and each looked like they were having plenty of fun goofing off for photographers. We already think Josh Hutcherson did a great job as Peeta Mellark in The Hunger Games, but the kid’s got a lot of work ahead of him still. Catching Fire and Mockingjay are no walk in the park for the baker’s boy. So we’re very glad MTV and Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale took it upon themselves to help him keep his acting chops in shape by targeting him in last night’s episode of Punk’d. Hutch thought he was going out for coffee and lunch with two of his friends, but the friend in the driver’s seat realized their car was being followed and soon they found themselves being interrogated in an Lapd station. Through it all, Josh kept his cool in a way that would make Haymitch proud, even if he may have been freaking out on the inside. »

Although it was a really elaborate set-up for the show, Hutcherson seemed a little underwhelmed by getting "Punk'd."
