'The Flash' and 'Supergirl' Crossover Is Happening This March

The Flash is speeding to National City! The Flash star Grant Gustin, in his role of Barry Allen/The Flash, will cross over to Supergirl in an episode to be broadcast Monday, March 28 (8:00-9:00 Pm, Et/Pt) on the CBS Television Network. Details of the episode will be announced at a later date. Here's what The Flash and Supergirl executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg had to say in a joint statement about the long-awaited crossover.

Grant Gustin, star of The CW’s hit superhero series “The Flash,” will visit CBS’ “Supergirl” for a crossover episode set to air Monday, March 28 at 8 p.m. on CBS, it was announced Wednesday.

Plot details for the episode, titled “Worlds Finest” — including what will bring Barry Allen (Gustin) to National City to meet titular heroine Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) — are set to be announced at a later date.

After all, it wasn’t exactly Kara’s icy breath and heat vision that neutralized Monday’s Villain of the Week, Bizarro. It was a heartfelt speech from Mehcad Brooks’ almost-too-nice alter ego that caused Supergirl’s doppelgänger to finally soften. As it turns out, all it really takes to face down a National City threat is a few genuine words about being a good person. (Well, that and some reverse-engineered Kryptonite, but the point still stands.)

PaleyFest Adds ‘Scandal’ and ‘Better Call Saul’ to La Lineup

The Paley Center for Media has added two more shows to this year’s PaleyFest La lineup — ABC’s “Scandal” and AMC’s “Better Call Saul.”

The cast of “Better Call Saul” will make their PaleyFest debut on Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m., while “Scandal” will return to the stage on Tuesday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m.

The two series join nine previously announced events for PaleyFest La 2016, which include “Empire,” “American Horror Story,” “Supergirl” and “Fear the Walking Dead,” among others.

This year’s PaleyFest La will run from Friday, March 11 to Sunday, March 20 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

PaleyFest Adds ‘Big Bang Theory,’ ‘Supergirl,’ ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ to La Lineup

The Paley Center for Media has announced three more shows for its 2016 PaleyFest La lineup, with the festival set to take place from March 11-20 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

CBS’ “Supergirl” and “The Big Bang Theory” and AMC’s “Fear the Walking Dead” will join previously announced honorees including “Empire,” “American Horror Story: Hotel” and “Black-ish,” among others.

The Big Bang Theory” panel will take place on Wednesday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. Pt; “Fear the Walking Dead” takes the stage on Saturday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m. Pt, and “Supergirl” will take flight on Sunday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. Pt. 'Supergirl' Gets 'Smallville' Star Laura Vandervoort as Indigo

Supergirl sure loves to pay homage to what has come before it. Before the show debuted this past fall, it was announced that Helen Slater, who played Kara in the 1984 Supergirl movie, would appear as the new Kara Zor-El's adoptive earth mom. Now, we have word that another Supergirl is joining the series in Season 1.

Things are about to get even more interesting in National City in 2016! The DC Comics characters Indigo and Master Jailer are set to debut on the super hero series Supergirl over the course of the next few months. CBS' hit was recently named Favorite New TV Drama at the 2016 People's Choice Awards.

Laura Vandervoort, who played Kara/Supergirl on the long-running hit drama series Smallville, has been tapped for the recurring role of Indigo. The character is described by producers as a living, strong-willed supercomputer. She was sentenced to Fort Rozz after turning against the people of Krypton. »
