Sang the lead part and was the arranger for the legendary vocal group "The Jordanaires"; also invented the 'Nashville numbering system' designation for musical notes that has become a standard in the recording industry - not only in Nashville. Also, along with ace guitarist Harold Bradley, helped bring the American Federation of Musicians trade union to Nashville in the early 1950s.
