New Stoker Poster: Do Not Disturb The Family!

21 December 2012 3:45 AM, PST | Filmofilia | See recent Filmofilia news »

Another great poster for the upcoming horror-thriller Stoker has arrived, and as you’re going to see – this time we have a little message from the leading cast which goes like this: do not disturb the family! What a creepy family indeed! Their faces look pretty cool, but if you check out the rest of this report and take a better look at the poster, you’ll actually see there’s blood on someone’s hands…

Horror film, or family drama or psychological thriller? I don’t care, the only thing I know is that I’m totally interested in this movie. It comes from director Park Chan-wook, it’s written by Wentworth Miller and it stars Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman and Matthew Goode.

What else can you wish for?

Wasikowska plays girl named India. After her father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie, who she never knew existed, »

New Image From Paranoia, Starring Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman & Liam Hemsworth!

21 December 2012 3:16 AM, PST | Filmofilia | See recent Filmofilia news »

Take another look at the Paranoia movie, which comes from director Robert Luketic and stars Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman and Liam Hemsworth in the leading roles! Nothing special about this new image, pretty much the same as that first look at the whole thing from October, but hey – at least something new! Check out the rest of this report to find a larger version and let us know what you think about this movie so far!

As we previously reported, Luketic directs this drama thriller from a script written by Jason Dean Hall, and the whole thing is actually based on Joseph Finder‘s novel of the same name. It centers on Hemsworth’s character – a telecom employee named Adam Cassidy who is blackmailed by his boss into spying on a rival company.

As for the above mentioned cast, I will once again remind you that Gary Oldman plays Nicholas Wyatt, »

Park Chan-wook’s Stoker Gets a New Poster

20 December 2012 8:57 PM, PST | Beyond Hollywood | See recent Beyond Hollywood news »

Oh, such a lovely family. The wife, the daughter, and the creepy uncle with mysterious (and some would say, sleazy) intentions toward the daughter. That’s just part of the charm of director Park Chan-wook’s Hollywood debut, the horror/drama “Stoker”. Take a gander at a new poster for the upcoming film below. Like I always say: it’s all fun and games until someone gets stabbed in the eye with a bloody pencil. After India’s (Wasikowska’s) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother Evelyn (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him. Starring Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode, Dermot Mulroney, Jacki Weaver, Nicole Kidman, Lucas Till, »

New Trailer for All Superheroes Must Die

20 December 2012 8:47 PM, PST | Beyond Hollywood | See recent Beyond Hollywood news »

And here I thought the superheroes of Jason Trost’s “All Superheroes Must Die” (originally “Vs.”) were just guys Batman-like vigilantes in costume, I didn’t know they had actual superpowers. But apparently they do, at least according to this new trailer (and synopsis below) for the film. In any case, check out the new trailer for “All Superheroes Must Die”. Don’t let the campy title fool ya; this doesn’t look campy at all. (They probably should change the title back…) Four masked avengers find themselves stripped of their powers by a cruel arch-nemesis they defeated years earlier … or so they thought. When the sinister mastermind puts the heroes through a series of brutal challenges that are virtually impossible to overcome, they must battle the clock — and even each other — in a race to stop a deadly countdown that could mean total destruction. Starring James Remar, Lucas Till and Jason Trost. »

Stoker Poster Warns Do Not Disturb the Family

20 December 2012 1:09 PM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Following the international poster that debuted earlier this month, Fox Searchlight Pictures has unveiled a new domestic one-sheet for Stoker. There seems to be a bizarre theme brewing between these posters involving subtle amounts of blood. The last one-sheet featured blood trickling down Matthew Goode's neck, and this creepy new image shows Mia Wasikowska holding a pencil with her bloody hand. At any rate, the message above the poster, featuring Nicole Kidman, Mia Wasikowska, and Matthew Goode reads "Do Not Disturb the Family." That's probably a good idea, since they seem disturbed enough as is. Check out the one-sheet for the English-language directorial debut of Korean filmmaker Chan-wook Park.

Stoker comes to theaters March 1st, 2013 and stars Matthew Goode, Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman, Dermot Mulroney, Jacki Weaver, Lucas Till. The film is directed by Chan-wook Park. »
