Wow, how long have I been waiting for something — anything — from this movie? i09 has set pics of some explosions going on during filming of Battle For La, about an alien invasion and the human forces that trying to stop it. Why anyone would try and stop the destruction of this piece of trash city I have no idea. I say let it burn and start over. Maybe then they'd get the freeway system done right and build some halfway decent public transportation.MTV spoke with one of its stars Lucas Till who describes the movie in the dumbest way humanly possible, or in in a way someone who reads MTV for news would understand:"It's basically any 19-year-old guy's dream job. I get to go to work and shoot guns all day so it's pretty awesome," he told MTV News. "It's basically an unknown force attacks Los Angeles and it revolves around this platoon of marines, which I'm apart of, and then »

After getting a role alongside Jackie Chan and Hannah Montana: The Movie co-star Lucas Till on the new movie The Spy Next Door, Billy Ray Cyrus has received yet another acting gig. It's not a sequel to his daughter's hit movie though, but it's also a rather family-oriented flick that's lined up for his career.
According to All Headline News, the 48-year-old country music songwriter and actor will be playing the lead role of Daniel Burton in a Hallmark movie titled Christmas in Canaan. While it doesn't look like it will be have any other Hannah Montana attachments there, he'll still be portraying the role of a father. This time, however, to an unruly boy.
Just in time for Halloween week, FEARnet launched its much-anticipated horror web series Fear Clinic today. After whetting appetites back in July at Comic-Con, the Robert Englund (Freddy from the Nightmare on Elm Street films) led thriller centers around a brilliantly creepy Dr. Andover (Englund) and his unlisted clinic for curing lifelong phobias. Director Robert Hall, who comes from the world of visual effects, is a newcomer to web series. His Almost Human effect shop was called on to produce the complex makeup and creature effects so far unseen in a web original. ”This looks like a nasty little Cronenberg film made for the web,” said Englund during our recent interview with him, referencing the venereal horror master. "Fear is the little death that consumes you," warns Dr. Andover in the opening episode (above) to an uneasy Lucas Till. Till plays Brett, a young guy looking to get over his »

Let's skip the part about Miley Cyrus being on the sequel for Sex and the City first, and discuss how her Hannah Montana co-stars are doing. Emily Osment and Mitchel Musso busy with their music careers and little is heard about Jackson Earles and Moises Arias. However, it looks like more fame is on the horizon for Billy Ray Cyrus and Lucas Till.
You may remember the latter for his role as Miley's love interest on Hannah Montana: The Movie. As for the former, you know him as Miley's dad. Enough said. Despite an unlikely pairing, these two have teamed up to star in an upcoming movie titled The Spy Next Door.
Check out the trailer for Lionsgate's "The Spy Next Door" for what looks to be another release only making theatres due to its star presence. It's basically "The Pacifier" rebuffed and, despite how much I admire Jackie Chan as a performer, I doubt I would catch this in...at least in theatres. The family comedy actioner stars also stars Lucas Till, Billy Ray Cyrus, Amber Valletta, Katherine Boecher and George Lopez. From the guy who brought you “Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins” and “Are We There Yet?” comes Jackie Chan in … “The Spy Next Door”! It’s not just Jackie Chan, either, it’s Billy Ray Cyrus (you know, Hannah Montana’s dad?), George Lopez, and sexy supermodel turned (cinematic) mother of three Amber Valletta. Okay, so it’s basically a movie where Chan makes a fool of himself in the service of comedy, in the tradition of other movie tough guys like Vin Diesel, The Rock, Arnold, etc. You know the drill: tough guy learns that caring for a bunch of overly precocious (but adorable) kids is almost as tough as saving the world blah blah blah. While babysitting his neighbor’s children, a mild-mannered guy winds up having to fight off secret agents after one of the kids inadvertently downloads a secret code. Starring Jackie Chan, Lucas Till, Amber Valletta, »

Following little more than a month on the heels of the Jonas Brothers movie, Hannah Montana: The Movie easily overshadows its predecessor while still doing little more than highlighting one of Disney’s rising stars. Hannah Montana: The Movie benefits from a decent plot which continues the television show’s story while still providing a simple plot that functions autonomously from the pre-existing Hannah Montana timeline – which was important for this reviewer. It takes its place in the long line of fish out of water films and, for what it is, delivers a watchable film for the kiddies and the parents who bought it for them.

The teen sensation talks about her new movie, that she almost didn't make
Hannah Montana: The Movie will hit the shelves on DVD, two-disc Deluxe Edition DVD and a three-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo set on August 18. Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment recently conducted an interview with the film's star, Miley Cyrus, and she had plenty to say about her new film. Take a look at what the teen star had to say below.
There's a rumor going around that you didn't want a Hannah Montana movie. Is that true?
Miley Cyrus: It is true! At first, I was a little concerned because I wanted to know how the show would work in a movie format. We wanted to make a movie that was more realistic than the show, along with some comedy and romance. I think we did a good job of doing that, but it was a little scary at the start. »

Lucas Till is a lucky guy. Not only does he star alongside Miley Cyrus in "Hannah Montana: The Movie," now on DVD, but he also co-stars with Taylor Swift in her Vma-nominated "You Belong With Me" video — and the 19-year-old Atlanta native got to kiss them both.
When asked who was the better kisser, Till seemed excited. "Oh! I know [I don't have to answer that], but I kind of want to answer it," he laughed. "I don't know. I don't think you know what you're getting into by letting me answer this."
Eventually Till did say that he prefers kissing country superstar Taylor Swift, who also made a cameo in "Hannah Montana: The Movie." "I kind of want to go there ... I think ... we're gonna cause something," he said. »
