Roger González, born in 1987, in México, is an actor, singer and TV host of Disney Channel Latin America.

González got his first taste of fame when he landed the lead role in the TV series "Zapping Zone" for Disney Channel. The Mexican magazine "Notas Para Ti" soon named him one of the Handsome Artists in Mexico.

Before entering Disney Channel, González had worked for several years as a host in television and as a DJ in the radio "Exa FM." He also appeared in soap operas such as "Rebelde Way" and "Floricienta."

In June 2007, González hosted the children program, "High School Musical La Selección," in TV Azteca where he also sang several soundtracks of the series including "American Dragon" and the hit "Eres la Música en Mi" which was later translated in English for the film "High Musical School 2."

Apart from acting and singing, González, is also into sports like volleyball and swimming. His other hobbies include traveling and playing the guitar.

Roger is the main face of Disney Channel Latin America and the host of the successful TV show Zapping Zone, aired on Disney Channel.

This young Mexican actor started his career at the early age of 11, working on TV commercials, while he was taking acting and singing lessons.

His charm, talent and freshness in front of the cameras has made him one of the most famous and loved young TV hosts of Latin America. He is also considered one of the most handsome guys in show biz.

He has hosted several radio shows, such as: EXA 97.3, Planeta 104.5 FM and Radio Disney 94.3.

On television, Roger has worked for the two most important national channels in Mexico: Televisa and TV Azteca.

Roger's real leap to fame was in 2002, when he started working for Disney Channel, after being selected in a major national casting. Since that moment, he has been working hard to set himself up as an important host in television. Today, Roger is an icon among the Latin America youngsters. He has interviewed international celebrities such as Helen Mirren, Nicolas Cage, John Voight, Ed Harris and a lot of Hollywood personalities.

He has worked together with other Disney Channel stars, such as Miley Cyrus, Brenda Song, Corbin Bleu, Ashley Tisdale, Selena Gomez, Chelsea Staub, Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers, with whom he shares a strong friendship relation.

In 2007, Roger hosted the reality show High School Musical: "La Selección", aired on prime time on TV Azteca.

In 2008, Roger catapulted his career after his performance in two Films in the same year. His first film, High School Musical: "El Desafio", in which he performed as a special guest. He also voiced "Terence", in the Walt Disney Picture film "Tinkerbell", which had originally been voiced by Jesse McCartney. That very same year, he starred the Peter Pan musical, which completely sold out weeks before the opening. Roger is still amazing the audience and this year he was back in prime time with the TV show "Planeta Disney" on TV Azteca. The show hit top TV ratings all through the season.

By the end of 2009, Roger will be back on the big screen with the Walt Disney Pictures film "Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure", in which his character plays a leading role.

In 2010, he also was part of the Broadway musical "Beauty and the Beast" in Buenos Aires, Argentina playing "Lefou".

The word has been spreading in newspapers and magazines that Roger might be back in Mexico by the end of this year to act in a theatre play. He now lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Roger loves sports and his main passion is traveling and meeting new people and cultures. He has been to most of the major cities in the USA, New York being his favorite.
