Colmon Elridge
- Actor
Colmon Elridge was born in Los Angeles, California.
After the loss of his father, Colmon Elridge, Jr., to suicide, his family moved to San Antonio, TX, and then to Cynthiana, Kentucky.
Colmon has been a storyteller, finding joy on the stage at a young age. He grew that experience to singing in choirs and talent shows, joining a dance theater troupe, and eventually landing in several stage and opera productions in college.
Colmon's first acting role came in high school when he was cast as "Tommy", a hard-lined unhoused youth in the movie "The Detail". He won the role after the director saw him get tossed out of a soccer game and asked him if he thought he could do that on screen.
Colmon's next break came in a small walk-on role in the movie "Seabiscuit", credited as John.
Colmon's third film, "Into the Fire", was written by a close friend, and is close to his heart, as it tells the story of loss, devastation, redemption, and hope.
