In great news, Fox has renewed New Girl, The Mindy Project, The Following (okay, that one might not be great) and critical darling Brooklyn Nine Nine.

While that detailed of a demographic breakdown isn’t available, The Oc Weekly argues that Looking is the “perfect show for (straight) women“, praising the show for avoiding tropes like ticking biological clocks and generally tossing out relationship gender roles.

Speaking of Looking, last night’s finale prompts Buzzfeed to ponder the enduring affection gay men have for The Golden Girls. It turns out there’s a good number of diehard fans working on the HBO dramedy.

One Tree Hill alum Robert Buckley has been set as a series regular in Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero’s CW drama pilot iZombie, from Warner Bros. TV. iZombie is a supernatural crime procedural that centers on a med student-turned-zombie who takes a job in the coroner’s office to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat to maintain her humanity, but with each brain she consumes, she inherits the corpse’s memories. Buckley, repped by Wme and Interlink Management, will play Major, Liz’s former fiance who is trying to make the transition to friend. 'The Crazy Ones' casts 'Chuck' alum Joshua Gomez

"The Crazy Ones" just added a spy to its cast.

"Chuck" alum Joshua Gomez has joined the CBS sitcom for a guest-starring role, THR reports.

Gomez will show up on the Robin Williams/Sarah Michelle Gellar comedy in episode 16. He will play George, a copywriter at Lewis, Roberts + Roberts who gets the chance to work with Andrew (Hamish Linklater).

Gomez, best known for playing sidekick Morgan on NBC's campy spy series "Chuck," also recently guest-starred on ABC's "Castle."
