Kate Kennedy was born as Kathleen Ann Dunn Kennedy. She is a producer and manager, known for Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997), The Indian in the Cupboard (1995) and When a Man Loves a Woman (1994).

Received her Bachelors degree in painting and sculpture from Marymount Manhattan College.
Was a member of the San Francisco Lillyput Players Theatre Troupe.
Apprenticed under Maitres Cuisiners de France chef Jacque Robert at San Francisco's famous Amelio's. Chef at the Cercle De L'Union in San Francisco's French Club on Mason Street with Master Chef Felix Talavan of Spain. San Francisco's earthquake of 1989 propelled her into a casting career beginning with 'The Joy Luck Club' ( qv) directed by Wayne Wang.
Develops young musical talent with musician, composer and producer, Steve Ferrone.
Drama Coach: New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco. Teaches acting using the Michael Chekhov method.
Founded the independent film and television production company PeachCraft Studios. Kennedy's partner is Kranti Pally.
