Anyone who is familiar with spending time in airports first-hand can attest to the fact that there's no bigger pain in the ass then finding out that your flight has been delayed. So why should fictitious airports and flights be any different?
According to Deadline the horror-thriller 7500, directed by Takashi Shimizu, is moving to a yet-to-be-determined date in 2013 from August 31, 2012.
Takashi Shimizu's 7500 stars Ryan Kwanten, Amy Smart, Johnathon Schaech, Leslie Bibb, Jamie Chung, Nicky Whelan, Christian Serratos, Scout Taylor-Compton, Jerry Ferrara, and Alex Frost.
Written by Craig Rosenberg (TV’s "Lost") and produced by Taka Ichise (The Grudge) and Roy Lee (The Ring), 7500 follows a group of passengers who encounter what appears to be a supernatural force while on a trans-Pacific flight. John Middleton and Tracy McGrath are serving as executive producers.

One horror film has officially dropped out of the summer release schedule: Takashi Shimizu's 7500. CBS Films originally had the supernatural thriller slated for an August 31st release. That would put it up against The Possession - a Lionsgate release.
CBS opted, today, to move 7500 out of that spot and into a now undetermined date in 2013.
The film concerns a group of passengers who encounter what appears to be a supernatural force while on a transpacific flight. Ryan Kwanten, Amy Smart, Leslie Bibb, Nicky Whelan, Alex Frost, Jamie Chung and Scout Taylor-Compton star. You can check out the teaser trailer inside.

7500 Trailer. Takashi Shimizu‘s 7500 (2012) teaser trailer stars Leslie Bibb, Jamie Chung, Amy Smart, Nicky Whelan, and Ryan Kwanten. 7500‘s plot synopsis: “Passengers aboard a flight across the Pacific Ocean encounter a supernatural force.”
Altitude and Snakes on the Plane both looked good, like 7500, and both were bad in similar and dissimilar ways, Altitude being the worst of the two. With Takashi Shimizu of the original The Grudge films helming this, I will give it a shot. Hopefully CBS Films gave Takashi Shimizu a free hand to do his thing.
7500 also stars Scout Taylor-Compton, Christian Serratos, Johnathon Schaech, Jerry Ferrara, Alex Frost, Megan Taylor, Allison McCurdy, Leni Ito, and Barrett Perlman.
Watch 7500 teaser trailer below and leave your thoughts on it in the comments section below. For more 7500 videos, photos, and reviews, visit our 7500 Page. 7500 will be released in Us theaters through CBS Films on August 31, 2012.

A couple of days ago we showed you the first still from Takashi Shimizu's airborne spooker 7500. Now Entertainment Weekly has released an expanded look at the picture revealing a very punky Scout Taylor-Compton. Dig it!

A few days ago we posted a still from 7500 that was sourced from the print edition of Entertainment Weekly. Turns out they had cropped Scout Taylor-Compton (Rob Zombie's Halloween and Halloween 2) from the image, but the web edition of the magazine has the full still. And she doesn't look quite the same, to be sure. Ryan Kwanten, Amy Smart, Leslie Bibb, Jamie Chung, Nicky Whelan, Johnathon Schaech, Christian Serratos, Scout Taylor-Compton, Jerry Ferrara and Alex Frost all star in the film. Kwanten and Smart co-star as married couple Brad and Pia Martin, who board Vista Pacific Flight 7500 with their two longtime friends for a trip to Japan »

Only some 14 hours after we brought you more casting news on the third Riddick, Vin Diesel has posted our first ever look at the film on his Facebook page (via /Film), which was accompanied by the note “Grateful for the opportunity to make magic.” It’s pretty bare — as basic as you can get when it comes to an “official” set photo — but it’s another odd reminder that, hey, Vin Diesel and David Twohy are actually making another Riddick movie.
The other first look is for 7500, an airplane-set thriller from Takashi Shimizu, director of The Grudge. He’s handling a (surprisingly decent) cast that’s comprised of Ryan Kwanten, Amy Smart, Leslie Bibb, Jamie Chung, Nicky Whelan, Johnathon Schaech, Christian Serratos, Scout Taylor-Compton, Jerry Ferrara, and Alex Frost, some of whom you can see in the below shot. It comes from an upcoming issue of EW, but was scanned by BloodyDisgusting; if anything, »

We're getting a fresh look inside the cabin of The Grudge's Takashi Shimizu's supernatural thriller 7500. Ryan Kwanten, Amy Smart, Leslie Bibb, Jamie Chung, Nicky Whelan, Johnathon Schaech, Christian Serratos, Scout Taylor-Compton, Jerry Ferrara and Alex Frost all star in the film. Entertainment Weekly landed the pic, which I have to say looks kind of nondescript. It doesn't exactly strike fear into my heart. We'll see how things shake out when the film is released though. Even though we cannot see what they're all looking at, it's a safe bet that everyone in this latest still from 7500 is face-to-face with something truly bad. I mean, come on, have you ever seen Turtle from "Entourage" scared of anything?!?
