Brian Woodland Wallace was born on June 19, 1959, in Los Angeles. He
grew up in San Gabriel, California. He has one older brother and two
older sisters. Attending San Gabriel High School, he realized his
desire to be an actor after performing in several productions. In 1977
he graduated high school. Between 1978-79 he wrote comedy for a radio
program (The Young Marquis Show) at KROQ in (then) Pasadena. In 1979 he
attended Pasadena City College, majoring in Theater Arts. In 1981 he
secured a job at Paramount Studios, in the security department,
eventually performing every duty available. In 1989 along with Arsenio Hall,
he performed as a Paramount security guard in a sketch for The Arsenio Hall Show (1989).
Soon after this, he joined the Screen Actors Guild. In 1990 he was
chosen to be head of security for Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991), earning him a film credit as
Set Security. In 1991 he left Paramount to pursue other aspects of
security work, including qualifying as an instructor of firearms for
law enforcement and security. In 2001 he decided to return to his first
love, acting. He has done numerous background jobs and some day player
and voice-over work. Today, Brian continues to act
professionally.
