This Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Music Video Stars David Hasselhoff and It's Just . . . Wow

  • BuzzSugar
Up until this moment, I had no idea how badly I needed a music video starring David Hasselhoff and the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 cast in my life. Luckily the movie's director, James Gunn, did us all a favor by convincing the Hollywood powers that be to let him make one, and it's incredible. The gloriously cheesy, trippy video (directed by David Yarovesky) features a song titled "Guardians Inferno," as well as appearances from franchise stars Zoe Saldana, Sean Gunn, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Michael Rooker, and Karen Gillan, all of whom are decked out in some hilarious '70s costumes (and really bad wigs). RelatedExclusive: Chris Pratt Is Exactly the Guy You Want Him to Be Behind the Scenes of Guardians 2 Gunn briefly pops up in the clip himself, as does Jimmy Kimmel Live's Guillermo Rodriguez, Marvel legend Stan Lee, and, of course, Hasselhoff. Dave Bautista Decided Not To Read The Avengers: Infinity War Script

  • LRM Online
There are a few fans who eat up spoilers like Galactus eats planets, but many of us, myself included (I learned a hard lesson with Han Solo), try to be as spoiler free as possible going into a movie. Dave Bautista is a self-proclaimed fanboy. Bautista, who plays Drax the Destroyer in Avengers: Infinity War, was recently asked on Twitter what were his thoughts after reading the script for the film. Bautista replied saying he actually did not read the script.

I chose not to read it. Gods honest truth! I want to sit there with my bucket of popcorn and bag on M&M's and be surprised! #fanboy https://t.co/sg0nOGoDuQ

Dave Bautista (@DaveBautista) August 2, 2017

Bautista has only been part of the Marvel Cinematic universe for a few years, and judging by his response, it is likely he was a fan of the McU before he became

Jimmy Kimmel Blasts Newt Gingrich: ‘There’s Some Very Sick and Sad People Out There’ (Video)
Upon his return from paternity leave caring for newborn son Billy, Jimmy Kimmel had a lot to say Monday night — and not all of it was nice. Along with calling out critics in the media who had dubbed him “an out of touch Hollywood elitist creep,” the ABC late-night host targeted Newt Gingrich for criticizing his healthcare plea in the wake of his son’s emergency heart surgery. “There are some very sick and sad people out there,” Kimmel said. “Here’s one of them — his name is Newt Gingrich. He’s the former Speaker of the House.” Also Read:

Adam Warlock was originally in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, will likely appear in Vol. 3

Given the key role he plays in The Infinity Gauntlet storyline of Marvel Comics, there’s been a lot of speculation as to whether Adam Warlock would have been introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe prior to next year’s Avengers: Infinity War, with many expecting him to have featured in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Well, speaking to Slash Film to promote the release of the hotly-anticipated sequel, director James Gunn has revealed that Warlock was part of his early plans for the film, although he felt the roster was getting a little crowded and decided to keep him back for a future film.

“I love Adam Warlock,” said Gunn. He’s one of my favorite characters. In all truth, I wrote an early treatment where I had Adam Warlock as a part…this is your big scoop, because I don’t think I’ve told anybody this…

Guardians 2 Doesn't Have Adam Warlock or Darkhawk Says Director
Director James Gunn is one of a few stars and filmmakers who've embraced Facebook Live, frequently using the technology to host impromptu Q&A sessions with his fans. One of these sessions happened yesterday, where he addressed a recent rumor swirling around his highly-anticipated movie Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Contrary to recent reports, which surfaced after new toys debuted, Marvel characters Adam Warlock and Darkhawk will not be featured in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Earlier this month, there were reports coming out of New York Toy Fair that featured new Marvel action figures such as Adam Warlock and the much more obscure Marvel Comics character named Darkhawk. Since these Marvel Legends figures were launched alongside a Guardians 2 line, many fans started to assume that they were going to be in the movie, but during the filmmaker's Facebook Live session, Gunn cleared things up. Here's what the filmmaker

You'll Never Believe Who Scared Jamie Dornan Out of La Back in the Day
You might know Jamie Dornan now as the sexy leading man of Fifty Shades Darker, but once upon a time he was just an up-and-coming actor struggling to make it in La. He sat down for a chat with Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday night to discuss his prefame life, specifically when he attempted to join a gym in the city about 12 years ago. "I signed up and I went in to train, and the first person I saw when I went up was your man Fabio," he laughed. "He was there with all of his hair and all that, wearing a very loose-fitting tank top. He was doing pull-ups and had a crowd around him." The experience was intimidating enough that Jamie thought, "Maybe La's not for me." Fortunately he overcame his gym anxiety, and now he's a superstar actor getting seduced by office supplies. Life is funny that way.

Sluggish China Box Office Brings Down 2016’s Global Totals

Sluggish China Box Office Brings Down 2016’s Global Totals
Publicly, studio executives tend to be a rosy bunch, predicting that each year’s crop of movies will be better than that which preceded it. But behind closed doors, few in the business were expecting much from 2016.

When the final numbers are tallied, the global box office will probably fall short of last year’s record-breaking $38.9 billion. Most observers expect ticket sales to fall roughly 2% to just over $38 billion. That decline is reason for some alarm, particularly as the shortfall is largely attributable to a slowdown in China. After years of explosive growth, in which returns were expanding at a 40% clip annually, revenue in China was essentially flat in 2016 — a disappointment for the world’s second-largest film market, which had been expected to surpass the U.S. in terms of revenue in a matter of months.

“As China goes, so goes the international marketplace,” notes Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst at ComScore.

Ben Affleck opened up to Et at Monday's Live by Night premiere, acknowledging the people he relies on most when the going gets tough.

The Oscar winner's legendary bromance with childhood friend Matt Damon hit an all-time high last year with their playful feud in which they argued over who was better friends with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Damon even hacked into Affleck's Facebook to change the Live by Night star's profile picture, photoshopping his own face over Affleck's in a photo of Affleck with the Super Bowl champ.
