Off-Broadway play “Buried Child” closes April 3, but there is still a chance to see the show even if you don’t live in New York City. “Buried Child” will be available to live stream on BroadwayHD tomorrow from the comfort of your own home. BroadwayHD is an online streaming service that offers shows from Broadway and performances of a similar caliber directly to your screen. “Buried Child” will be viewable on a computer, mobile device, or Apple TV via AirPlay. Scott Elliott directs the New Group’s production with an ensemble featuring Ed Harris, Amy Madigan, Taissa Farmiga, Larry Pine, Rich Sommer, Paul Sparks, and Nat Wolff. The Off-Broadway production opened at the Pershing Square Signature Center in February. Shepard won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1979 for “Buried Child. »

‘Firewatch’ Review (PS4)

17 February 2016 7:01 AM, PST | Blogomatic3000 | See recent Blogomatic3000 news »

Firewatch may be described as a walking simulator. Some may even say that as something of an insult. But the fact is, this game is more of a hiking (or orienteering) simulator that tells a story… A story that is well worth experiencing.

The best way to play Firewatch, as with many games of this type, is to go in cold. This is why I won’t get into the story in detail at all. It is safe to say though that you, as Henry have taken the job as a fire lookout to get away from your life. Your only real contact with the outside world is Delilah, a woman who watches from the distance and works as your supervisor.

The game does well in setting up the character of Henry by letting you build him for yourself. You are given certain important points about his life, though you »

Video Game Review – Firewatch

Villordsutch reviews Firewatch…

Firewatch was voted Number.4 in Flickering Myth’s most anticipated video games of 2016 back in January. I myself have been watching Campo Santo’s latest release with bated breath since the kindling was first laid out in-front of us and now finally it appears on our machines and I’m so hoping this blazes brightly.

If you’ve not kept you ear to the ground – when it comes to gaming releases – but you’ve let the what’s, why’s and where’s slip by you (shame on you) then we’ll quickly deliver a quick overview of Firewatch.  It’s 1989 and you play the role of Henry (voiced by Rich Sommer), a fire warden lookout in Shoshone National Forest.  After your patrol, in and around the Forest you return to discover your observation tower – and also your home – has been trashed.  You begin to investigate causing your once placid, »

Firewatch Review

8 February 2016 10:00 AM, PST | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Since it was revealed back in 2014, everyone has been trying to figure out just what Firewatch is. The purposefully cryptic trailers seemed to indicate that a mystery was afoot in the woods of the Shoshone National Forest in Wyoming. Combine that with the fact that the title comes from a brand new developer in Campo Santo, and you’ll understand why ideas ran wild about just what the game was actually about. It’s rare that even a day before launch, speculation can still be running rampant about a highly-anticipated title. I’m not here to spoil anything, obviously, but I can say that whatever your thoughts on the title are, there is a good chance that you’re wrong.

Set during the glorious year of 1989 (I may be a bit biased on that), Firewatch places gamers into the shoes of Henry. Looking to get away from a serious personal issue, »

Sure, mainstream musical theater is alive and thriving, but with Jeff Daniels, Saoirse Ronan, and Jessica Lange taking the Broadway stage and world premieres from the likes of A. Rey Pamatmat dominating Off-Broadway, it’s a very good time to see plays in New York City. Check out the highlights below. “Thank God For Jokes” at the Lynn Redgrave Theater (Opens Feb. 11)Mike Birbiglia’s third acclaimed stage work arrives Off-Broadway soon, and comedy fans and solo artists alike are lining up to see it.
