Bobby Love is the executive producer, costume designer and actor in the feature film "A Moment For Love". He co-wrote the screenplay with the Matarrese Brothers (Joe and Phil), and collaborated with award winning composer Michael Teoli and Wayne Moore on original songs for the film ("Take Me As I Am", "I Want To Feel Love", and "Special").
"A Moment For Love", an independent feature film, is a modern day comedy/drama fairytale set in the fashion and entertainment industries of Los Angeles. Trevor, a guilt ridden singer songwriter meets fashion/costume designer Bobby Love and enters the fantastical world of fashion and glamour and became Bobby's model and muse. Through their friendship and interaction with Bobby's partner Marcus, dad Teddy, sisters Dotty and Suzy, rival designer Alexander St. Mathews, chaos ensues and Trevor, Bobby and Marcus' lives are changed forever.
Bobby Love is also an American fashion and costume designer known for creating designs in the genre known as "fantasy couture". He began sketching fashion designs at 14, and became involved in the fashion industry of Hollywood, California after moving there at the age of 20. His designs include headdresses, costumes, and jewelry that derive from a specific fantasy theme . Bobby is the face of Bobby Love Couture, and modeled these costumes at runway shows and fantasy-themed events on the American West Coast, including the Edwardian Ball, Vampire Ball, Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade Ball. Bobby is a 3-time champion of the Los Angeles Vampire Ball and winner of the Macabre Masquerade costume competition, and received the Sanctuary Fashion Week Royal Heart Innovation Award.
Bobby Love's designs were featured in the Avant Garde Magazine runway show, Los Angeles Fashion Week and Metropolitan Fashion Week events held in Los Angeles, California, and he was given a "Certificate of Recognition" by the mayor of the City of Los Angeles for his contribution to the fashion industry. Bobby has appeared twice on the cover of Avant Garde Magazine, with the magazine's November 2018 issue being entirely dedicated to him as a "special designer".
