Directing a film is a love story. I fall in love with the characters, the way they speak, the things they say... Then it all ends and all you're left with are the memories. And that's what you share with audiences, those memories.
Imagine sitting in your seat, and suddenly the whole world around you
spins out of control while you still remain in your seat. That has
happened to me on two occasions. At attraction parks and at the
movies.
A film isn't made by just one person. It's such a collaborative effort where you get these different types of storytellers... one who tells stories through music, another with lights and shadows, another with performance... and they come together to tell the same story.
